I have used ScanCafe many times over the past years. They aren't cheap, but compared to the time I would spend scanning thousands of photos and hours of video, it is reasonable. I've always gotten a good quality product. Return packaging is good quality, and sets of images are generally labelled as I have asked. I do recommend this company for scanning negatives, transparencies, and prints--and for digitizing videos.

Sent in 475 slides from the 50's, 60's 70's. They all turned out great! I was surprised how good some of them turned out, since they were not in the best of shape. Color correction, lint removal, touch up was very good.
