All was good on digitizing my color slides. The slides were cropped to fit different film sizes. Color and lighting was optimized. Much better focus that I could do with my home scanner (Epson 3490 Photo scanner).

Customer service is friendly and helpful. My slides were scanned in a shorter time than I expected. I did not realize that for any slides that had to be enhanced I would be charged an additional $19.95 and if I didn't catch it in time, I would have paid $19.95 for a slide that I may have even just omitted from the collection. Luckily, I caught it and avoided the extra charge. I also was not aware of the Zip app that I had to add to my computer in order to view my slides. I'm not sure that's correct. Maybe I can see them without it, but it was confusing. I ordered two DVD's and one thumb drive which I am still waiting for. From what I was able to glean from the previews that I approved on line, ScanCafe did a good job of restoring them. However, I still have not seen them other than the preview, and I am confused about how I can do this without getting the Zip app which I do not want to pay for.
