I requested services weeks ago and has received no contact from an electrician.

I have to give this warranty company zero stars. It was a nightmare to get a technician to repair a dishwasher. It came to the point that I had to file a complaint with their upper level management and the Better Business Bureau. From what I understand the problem is that they don't have designated repair people in my area. They need to electronically ask different repair places if they're willing to do the work. Apparently they don't have success because it took weeks to get someone to acknowledge to take on the job and come to look at the broken dishwasher. The person they eventually sent was great but the aggravation to get someone to repair the dishwasher was horrific; as I said, I went to upper management, but I don't know if reporting my issue did a bit of good. I have a file folder on my computer of all the emails I received back-and-forth between the company and myself. I've used other aspects of their warranty program such as plumbing, which were fine, but the repair work on appliances is horrible. Take that in mind before you pay for the program . I will give them zero stars. I put the date. I experienced this as April 30 but it continued for weeks and weeks afterwards.

"Water tank lease"

I am trying to buy out my water tank lease. I have called Pivotal Home Solutions seven times since March I, 2024. They continue to tell me the bill is in the mail since March 19 but I haven’t seen it. I suspect I will not see this bill at all.
DO NOT do business with them.

I had spoken with a few company’s regarding my windows but the pricing and professionalism was just not there! So I left it and was approached by your home Solutions a lovely chap knocked the door and I am so happy I said yes! They come round and measured up the property couldn’t ask for a nicer guy the price was excellent and exactly what I was looking for. If not even cheaper with the same product, the same warranty, and I’ve got my windows at a great price. No pressure they even advised me to get more quotes to compare which I had already done and was no where near their price. They was straight to the point not taking hours of my time bargaining a price. From start to finish I am very pleased! And will be coming back for my front door! I have had 2 small leak incidents. Upon trying to fixed the first, I was completely ignored for 3 days and since it was a water issue, I decided to called a plumber myself and have it fixed. The second time, now I have the preferred plan. I called yesterday and was told that the proposal for the water leak was approved per a voicemail I received, which was recorded. Now today, they tell me it is not approved!! There are so many exclusions that it’s practically impossible to get ANYTHING covered! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE UNETHICAL BECAUSE THEY SAY ONE THING AND DON’T FOLLOW THROUGH. THEY ARE JUST TAKING YOUR MONEY! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

"Inappropriate billing practices"

I recenly noticed a charge on my Nicor bill from this company. I called Nicor & was informed like an insurance policy. I called Pivotal & was informed since 2010 I have been bill $14.90/month for this service. When I inquired more, I was told it was a phone Verbal agreement.... I do not recall signing on for this. Plus I did not notice it on my bill becaue of my poor vision. My partner saw it & he asked me what it was. I called Nicor who directed me to call Pivotal. I did & was told this charge has been occurring on my bill since 2010. I asked for copy of the contract & copy of my "signed" agreement. I was informed this could NOT be provided. I lodged a complaint with the FTC & Pivotal called me. I was still informed they can not send a signed agreement & would ONLY be willing to refundf me a BIT above $240.00. BUT if I agred this complaint would be closed. So NO I did not accept the offer. In fact I went on line & added more information to my FTC complaint. It seems they were trying to buy me off & would NOT accept a verbal to cancel this agreement so the monthly charges would persist. In my opinion Unfair Billing practices; & thievery because how can a company charge a person for a service IF the person NEVER "signed" on to receive the service???? AND this charge has been occurring since 2010!!!!! Again I did NOT realize this charge was occurring because of my poor vision. My boyfriend pointed it out to me. PLUS how can a company say they can START a service by a verbal over phone BUT then say can't be cancelled via phone message???? IF they can accept it they can also cancel it! So from my experience & in MY opinion. I would NOT deal with this company for their poor & inappropriate billing practices. Plus fact they will NOT provide me with contractual agreement & can NOT produce a signed contract by me agreeing to this service...... I do believe this is unfair & possibly unlawful!!!!! 11-16-22 Company finally cancelled the policy BUT nothibng said about a refund. Nor have they produced the contract for this service. The only thing they did was cancel the policy. NOTHING else!!! No copy sent of contract w/ my signature; no refund of any monies; not even a email in this regard except to say cancelled.
