Friend advised to try Globelink for travel insurance, best advice in a long time.
Having tried other insurers and found their fees so excessive as to be prohibitive I was amazed that I'd never heard of Globelink. We holiday regularly and always look for good cost effective travel insurance. In the past few years the premiums have risen to the point where you have start thinking "it's too much". So you search the internet and find some reduced premiums, but fewer each passing year. A friend mentioned Globelink and said give them a try.
So we did and now were back on track planing holidays for next year!

Been with Globelink for a number of years, always found renewal an easy process. Had one claim for a cancelled holiday which was settled efficiently and satisfactorily.
Making contact with medical help line for preexisting medical condition cover or exemption is not onerous but just means another organisation to contact.

I really liked the range or conditions automatically covered and the option not to cover another condition without invalidating cover on the ones in the list .This is unusual these days. Usually forced to cover all or nothing which is ridiculous .Some of the screening questions were poorly worded .This is outsourced.

As a returning customer I was happy to renew my policy. I had problem with the no screen section.
It asks if you have had surgery. As I did not want to put myself or my wife at risk should I incur a problem that damaged my knee. I had to say I have , I had a knee operation so had to contact the screening number to be charged £14 to cover what was a successful operation. This was done as an out patient in ,in the morning out in the afternoon.
The no screen is for me not specific enough and once contacted you have no way of challenging.
