"Bad Hair cut"

I usually go to Burlington off office in Canada and am snow bird in Sarasota. Canada sent a new system and hair cut is a disaster. I have been waiting for new system to fix the mess on my head that I had to endure social parties, Christmas and New Year's Eve socials and friends. Three friends saw my real hair because it was chopped off halfway up my head, another asked if I cut my hair myself, and I told her I had a hairdresser do it and she asked if she was licensed? It has been well over a month and STILL WAITING MY new system. HELP1

"Always a great experience"

After 22 years I've never had a negative experience and although everyone has offered any accommodation I may want, I've never required any special attention. It's nice to know it's there however.

"1st visit-very good, 2nd OK, 3rd - worst hair cut in a long time."

I have to say I'm disappointed. The first visit was good, pleasant hair stylist, who explained the program well. However was not able to take the pictures needed to set a baseline for hair improvement. Great head and shoulder massage though.

The second visit was OK. Still no baseline measurements (seemed to have been forgotten) Head massage not as good. I guess I was spoiled on the first one which raised expectations. It was also a different stylist.

Third Visit and third stylist -was a disappointment. It almost felt like I was an inconvenience and was interfering with her scheduling. My hair needed a trim, it was becoming unmanageable and would have been before my next visit. She clipped a few hairs and left me with the worst cut I've had in years. I even had to remind her to trim the growth at the back of my neck.
I have to travel over an hour and a half by public transit to get to the Club. So it isn't convenient to schedule visits between treatments.
Spoke to Alex and he did finally take a base line measurement of my hair.

Also I filled out the request for The hair treatment for Women. I was given the men's formula, which I'm told is the same but the instructions clearly say 'not for children or women" Didn't receive anything so filled in a 2nd request on the 3rd visit. I'm a week and a half awy from my forth visit and still nothing.

Hence the 3 stars. I'm hopeful that the program is working and that I will see improvement in my hair. Perhaps the sales pitch and first visit raised my expectations (not to mention the price) However regrettably I feel a little let down. My hair is has a soft curl and with a proper cut, is easily manageable (ie stay manageable) with just a wash a blow dry for as long as 6 to 8 weeks. I have been wrestling with it every day since a day or so after my 3rd appointment. When every day is a bad hair day, one can't help but feel annoyance.


Hair Club responded immediately to my review, addressed my concerns and made some changes,(new stylist). My 4th appointment went quite well and the hair treatment and cut was much improved.

"Products has not worked for me as they promised.No change in almost 6 months"

I was guaranteed that their products would work, and after 5 + months, no change in my hair growth. This is truly a disappointment. $4,200. out of my pocket and the staff cannot show me any changes.I feel ripped off

"Where is my personal reply as promised several weeks ago?????"

Last month the tape in the front came up and the tape stuck to my forehead after 3 days. It did exactly the same thing today after 3 days. I had no one to help me as my wife was out of town. I pay $619.00 a month and this is 2 mos. in a row that it came up completely from my forehead. The tape separates itself from the matrix and it is hell for me to try and fix by myself. I have been doing this for over 3 years and it comes up slightly after a couple of weeks, but it has never come completely up after 3 days like it has the last two months. I do not feel as though I am getting my money's worth and am not real happy about this. This has nothing to do with my stylist, but it is a flaw in the matrix. I do not want another stylist, as she is the best I have ever had. She takes time and always tries to make sure everything is right before I leave plus really takes pride in her work. I feel as though I am owed partial compensation for the last two months because I am not getting what I am paying for. This needs to get fixed pronto!!!!! Someone was supposed to contact me personally.....has not happened!

"It's life changing!!!"

Deciding to go to Hair Club has changed my life. After having breast cancer at age 40.. my hair after the chemotherapy had barely come back in. It was very spotty and thin. I tried doing wigs and every kind of hair growth serum out there for almost 4 years. They just did not work. After having a bilateral mastectomy, and no hair...my confidence was completely gone. I finally decided to make the call to Hair Club in Charleston, WV. We met, and I loved the knowledge and compassion the girls had shown me. Tarren had given me a few different options that would best fit my situation. We went with the full set of hair. Although it's a bit costly..my confidence is completely restored. I have to drive 2 hours to get to my appointments, but it's definitely worth it. It's been 6 yrs since the chemo and my hair is still barley coming in. This will be my lifestyle choice for hair. I'm so happy I made the call.
