"Really not happy"
Really not happy, the engineer (nice guy) literally spent two minutes here to tell me the replacement parts are likely to be more expensive than buying new, then told me he needed to call the compant so I could pay them for the privilege. I could have easily sent a whatsapp video and been told the same for a quote on parts verses being charged. I knew it was the bearings before they arrived and told them as much. The service is a complete money racket and I am £75 + VAT (£93.46 to be precise) worse off. I have noticed too that after every poor review they get a lame positive review!!! Hmmmm?????? You hear about cowboy companies like this they are a case in point. I wander if I ask them to offset the cost of being told what I knew the problem was against the cost of the new parts will they consider this as an option? Somehow I doubt it.

Unsure whether it's my location (South East) but I STILL have not had my Neff oven repaired almost a calendar month after first reporting the issue for my John Lewis insured oven. Firstly, the engineer arrives and tells me he isn't there to fix the oven, just do an assessment (even though I already had a call with Neff and instructed them exactly what the issue was (Neff could have fixed it the same week I orginally reported this issue may I add) the engineer looked like he'd just crawled out of a landfill and had body odour to boot - highly unprofessional, this was also an AM first thing appointment so it wasn't because of working in the heat. Next, the office based staff "forget" to call me for almost 2 weeks to book in my repair after my part arrives, despite me chasing them up (even though I could purchase the part online for arrival within 2 working days?) then after this issue, I finally get a fitting appointment, booked the day off as holiday only to receive a call at 2pm that afternoon to say the engineer is delayed "has run into difficulties" and can't come. Best they can do is a Saturday morning (lets see if he can make it then!?) 3 days later. Thanks so much for being the absolute WORST company JL could ever have sold this contract to. There are plenty of better companies out there that would go over and above on customer service for a contract like this. I'd contact your head office but I doubt I'd even receive a response. I'll likely be updating this on Saturday when my appointment is cancelled YET AGAIN. I am fuming. Don't both buying extended warranties from John Lewis, they are not worth the paper they are written on.

very unprofessional and un reliable company co boy engineers i had paid them for home visit then paid them for parts at the end they could fix my washing machine and i asked them to refund my money for parts and since February 2023 i am waiting for my refund to come in but every time i call them they tell me we are dealing with it i found it rip off just take money and dont work

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - WARNING"
I would give them no stars if I could. Absolutely horrified with my experience with this company. I booked a repair for last week (pre-paying the company a call out charge of 109 VAT incusive) at my rental property. My tenant was waiting all day for the engineer to turn up. The engineer called up my tenant at 5:34, and my tenant advised the engineer to park at the closest FREE parking which is a Morison's Car park. There is free parking for three hours, and it is for all visitors. Shockingly the engineer decides he doesn't want to use that parking, and then decides to just leave, NEVER calls back to tell us the situation, doesn't pick up any of the calls from me or my tenant, he just leaves.
I call up the office the next day, and of course no one picked up in the morning. The company then decides it is appropriate to charge ME the 36 pounds call out charge because their engineer was too lazy to do the work or carry out the service. On top of that, it is now the next week, the office has not tried to call me back or refunded my money.
It is absolutely ridiculous that the company thinks its appropriate to charge for failed call outs when their engineer couldn't even be bothered to call us back or inform us that he was leaving or even do the job properly.
Don't use this company, save yourself the hassle.
UPDATED EDIT: Gosh, I really wish I had read the reviews of this place before using them. The reviews on appalling service and rude customer service is exactly what this company is. Be aware people and read the negative reviews. The manager John Fisher also thinks it appropriate to ignore emails. The negative reviews are real. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The Installation Team were very careful & considerate when taking out & bringing in the washing machines through the house. They were very careful & considerate when installing the new machine as I requested too. They were keen to see the job through (& in one visit). This is exactly what I was looking for. I had been assured that that is how they would work & they did.

THE REPLY DOES NOT GET WHAT THE CLIENT HAS WRITTEN. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT PARTS COST + THEIR VISIT COSTS EXCEED THE COST OF A NEW MACHINE. THEY ALSO FAILED TO REPAIR THE HOOD AFTER THE PERSON WHO TOOK THE BOOKING SAID THAT THE HOOD IS A SIMPLE PRODUCT AND COULD BE EASILY REPAIRED. I'M WAITING TO HEAR A BILL FOR THE MICROWAVE REPAIR. HONESTLT I PAID THEM MONEY AND GOT BACK NOTHING.

"Had my first contact with Capital… 24/01/2023"
Had my first contact with Capital Repairs back in January 2023 and finally, the repair to my Cooker has been completed. The problem was with Capital, when Andy the Gas Engineer came to do the job, there was always some missing. Capital apologies, said I'm a priority, them have to wait another 2 weeks for Andy to come out. Andy was fantastic, very knowledgeable and completed the job.
Customer Services was terrible, if the Engineer could not come out on the date scheduled, I was the one calling to find out what was going on. When you spoke to Customer Services, it was "I was suppose to call, sorry", I was left feeling frustrated throughout the whole process.
Happy the Cooker was finally fix and Andy the Gas Engineer was brilliant.

"Avoid, didn’t show up on the day and didn’t repair the appliance"
I booked a repair and they didn’t show up that day. I rebooked the repair and they did show up. My washer dryer didn’t dry but washed perfectly well. After they had finished with it it did neither and they claimed I need a new machine. It was. Miele machine and I Recomended always getting the manufacture out. This company are generalists, charge a lot of money and don’t actually repair the machine. I have complained so will see what they do. Will update when I hear from them.
