Our flight arrived a bit earlier. I called the company and the car was on its way. A very friendly guy (Giorgio?) welcomed us and drove us to the pick up point.
We had to wait for two more customers to be serviced before our turn came. I was happily surprised to learn that the insurance we've taken via the website was enough, as this is not always the case. I filled-in a form, signed a few documents and got the keys. And I took a very reasonable offer to pay 10 euros to avoid checks on the cleanliness of the car upon return. Given that our two boys were with us - this was a good decision :)
Return after one week was also easy. No hassle. We had a 10 o'clock flight and the same friendly guy took us to the airport - this time not with the shuttle but with a smaller car to be faster in the traffic jams. All went well.

"Ladri ed imbroglioni"
L'auto non aveva la bomboletta spray obbligatoria, non ho potuto effettuare una riparazione temporanea per potermi permettere di riportare l'auto con il pieno e/o riparare la gomma.
Il servizio clienti mi ha dato del bugiardo ed ora vogliono accollarmi centinaia di euro di spese.
Ho provato a ruchiamare ma ora mi ignorano di proposito.
Tutto cio' quando la Europe assistance mi ha detto ieri che avrebbero pensato a tutto loro e la mia chiamata era di cortesia.
Un maleducato al servizio clienti puo' rovinare tutta una compagnia.
Morale della favola, mi hanno accollato anche le bomboletta spray vuota con un totale di 511 euro per una foratura. Ho mandato una lettera via avvocato che hanno ignorato chiaramente! .. vedremo!

"New Business Model"
Felirent's business model is different from traditional car rental companies. They only tell you the true cost of your Felirent when you return the car. Assuming that your flight is within a few of hours, they will find a tiny scratch on your wheel and then charge you a replacement cost. I had insurance and they were aware. Other insurers who know this systemic approach don't offer cover for Felirent. Mine said that they'd consider withdrawing it.

"Terrible Customer Service"
Terrible Customer Service – we were delayed because of our flight delay, we waited an hour for the shuttle even though we called three times and they kept telling us it was on its way – mind you it is only five minute drive to the rental place. Yet we waited an hour. When we finally got to Felirent, The two ladies were so rude – a lady with glasses and dark hair and a girl with dyed blonde hair and fake eyelashes who said she was the manager. They were both so rude to us. They said there’s nothing they can do not even help us get a new car, not even apply or $380 payment towards a new rental, not charge us a late fee and give us the car. They just told us there was nothing they could do and they made us called discover cars.com who was also unhelpful, The manager was also rude to discover cars customer service on the phone. They basically just keep your money and do nothing to help you if you have a delay flight and you missed the 59 minute pick up window.

"Achtung Abzocke - teure Zusatzversicherung!"
Wir mussten eine teure zusätzliche Versicherung abschließen da meine Karte für das Bezahlen nicht akzeptiert wurde. Ein Bezahlen mit einer akzeptieren Karte meiner Frau war aufgrund des unterschiedlichen namens auf der Karte ebenso wenig möglich wie die Änderung des Hauptfahrers. Für das Bezahlen der zusätzlichen Kosten für die eigene Versicherung war wiederum jede Karte willkommen. Das konnten wir absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Uns waren in der Situation die Hände gebunden, da wir mit 2 Kindern am Flughafen standen und zu unserer Unterkunft fahren wollten. Es wurde sich um keine mögliche Lösung bemüht und wurden unfreundlich behandelt. Wir haben es als pure Abzocke empfunden. Diese mangelnde Flexibilität finden wir gerade bei einem Serviceanbieter absolut unverständlich und ärgerlich.
