"Commonly bad it seems - do not use"

Seems there is a common theme here... bought a bamboo floor mat from them, which was advised would be fine for use under office chair.
Lasted a couple of months tops before started cracking and falling apart.
When messaged got the 30 day spiel which is rubbish as items need to be "fit for purpose and last a reasonable length of time" in UK law

"I would not recommend or buy from this company ever again."

I bought an anti static chair mat for carpet floor back at the end of March 2020 so have only had it down for a few weeks and it has already started to crack up and split. I researched before I bought but obviously not well enough as when I wrote to tell them of the problem I was given the same answer as another reviewer that the mat was only covered for 30 days, what rubbish, as already said the item should be fit for purpose which it obviously is not. I would not recommend buying anything from a company that feels that a 30 day cover is adequate in any way. I will be taking this matter further. They only got one star as I couldn't give none.

"Misleading website!"

Misleading website!
I have reviewed poorly with one star on the website but they do not display this.
Poor quality floor mats and ignorant service, that should be avoided by all!!

The mats were actually crooked and it started to crack, despite the website saying it is crack free.
They have refunded me and ask to re-order. I tried to understand the reason for the poor quality and crack to try and understand if it is a one off and to get some reassurance.
I WAS IGNORED, so don't waste your time.

"Terrible customer service"

Terrible customer service, I have been waiting for 2 weeks and despite chasing my order the response has been poor to zero. I know it’s Covid (blah blah) but that’s no excuse for such shoddy service - people are working from home, myself included, and I am working harder than ever. I know how to deal with issues because I care about them. I wish I’d just gone with Amazon.

23/06/20 - three emails to the company later asking for a refund and still no response from them. Appalling.

"Good quality but slightly slower delivery than expected."

I was worried when I read all the negative reviews AFTER I ordered some vinyl flooring from Floormats. The order confirmation implied it would be dispatched within 2 working days, so I wasn't very happy when I contacted the company and was told “it could take upwards of two weeks.” I then realised it was coming from Germany. However, it did arrive a little over 2 weeks after ordering and I'm very happy with the quality.

"Awful and dangerous."

Just like DC, of Apr 24, 2020......


In November 2019, I bought the Polycarbonate PRO series (2.3mm thick) mat for carpets for use by my 54kg wife. After 4 months the mat started to crack and after 6 months it broke into very sharp brittle fragments.

I contacted the helpline (S.C. , Customer Service) who explained it was beyond the 30day returns date, continued to fob me off before the lockdown and now is not responding at all.

If there was a means of attaching photos, I would.

This mat is not fit for purpose under the Sale of Goods act 1979 and Consumer Rights act 2015
It would fail any safety assessment with the sharp fragment shards.



Incidentally, Floormats own reviews only show the good ones, none bad......

"Better off with cardboard and gaffer tape!!!"

So like others, I really wise I'd come here prior to being sucked in a clicking purchase from a site that evidently is covering up the real reviews of the floor mats.

So issues:
1. Misleading lead time from purchase to delivery. That is due to it coming from Germany, not anywhere in the UK!
2. Poor comms. You call the number and they say email us. You email and wait ages for a generic reply!
3. Poor quality product. You purchase the top end pro model and it lasts if you are lucky a week before extensive cracking!
4. Poor refund process. You call and email and after a week you get a generic reply that they will advise their accounts department to process a refund! I'm still waiting for the refund!

So, if you are looking for a mat to protect your carpet, save yourself the time and effort. Perhaps some cardboard covered in gaffer would be easier, cheaper and stronger!

"Lack of communication"

I was luckier than most it seems.
I do have complaints about communication though.
- Money taken instantly but no email confirmation of order. I had to contact them to make sure they had the order.
- in response I received an email about delivery process, so then had to reply and say I want to know if you’ve got my order? They said yes.
- A few days later I emailed again asking what was happening and was told I’ll email you when it’s dispatched - no email received.
- Today , 1 week after the email saying they had my order, I emailed to ask again what was happening with the order. No reply.

But items were delivered today.
They are correct and seem ok (outside rubber mats).
Paperwork says Dayton Home & Office, Germany. But cs email address is co.uk.
A bit of communication would go a long way!
I wouldn’t use again purely for the lack of it.

"AVOID! Over 2 weeks to deliver and broke in less"

Check out the review on the gold standard link on their page for an eye opener. Product took over 2 weeks to arrive and broke in less. Customer service a joke and offered a 20% refund for a unusable product. Avoid

"Not UK company, Fraudsters!!!!!!!!!!!"

Fraudsters!!!!!!! Firstly this company claims that they are in UK, this is false!!!! Do not use this company ever!!!!! Ordered a mat over 6 weeks ago and due to nonchalant communications from owner, decided that would refuse the goods. They told us that once refused, they would refund. Refused goods at doorstep. Now saying that will refund once goods have been returned even though they acknowledge that goods were already refused. The company looks like it just wants to extract money from customer without care in the world. Will be reporting this company to Trading standards!!!!!
