Very happy with the process so far. With a busy schedule I wasn’t too sure about taking 2 weeks of work but we managed to get the procedure booked within a month or so of my initial consultation so I was able to plan around it all easily.

The team were very helpful in assessing my aims and suitability for the procedure and answered all my questions and concerns. They also offered the use of a facility in Manchester which I preferred so I wouldn’t have to use public transport post procedure.

The procedure itself was a little uncomfortable at the start but I understand this is completely normal until the numbing kicks in. Both Dr Ditta and the two technicians were very experienced and comforting during the procedure. They handled my complications easily and I knew I was in safe hands.

I had initially been looking at 1900 grafts but when we sat down to design my hairline more grafts were needed and I had a healthy donor area so we upped it to 2500 grafts at no additional cost.

Currently on day 12 post procedure but the scabs came off on day 10 ahead of schedule, my aftercare routine was explained clearly and I was given everything I needed.

My advice to anyone considering a transplant is that the procedure itself and the day after are a little rough but worth it. It’s definitely a big factor knowing your surgeon is experienced and you’re in good hands. I’ve recommended the team to friends of mine who are considering the procedure and would encourage people to use the team at the Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinics.

My first point of contact was Sara. She was informative and explained the procedure, pre and post, and answered all questions. There were and have been since, constant contact, which has been appreaciated.
On the day of the procedure, Mohammed introduced me to the team assisting him, and explained everything that would take place that day. He was friendly, and made sure I understood everything that was explained. It is a long day, patience is required but the team made sure I was comfortable throughout. Recovery post procedure takes time (which I am currently half way through) and I am looking forward to its completion and the seeing the results.

The day of the procedure went very smooth. Dr Ditta and his team always made sure I was ok and comfortable while doing the transplant. From our initial consultation Dr Ditta made sure to explain everything in detail about the procedure and was extremely approachable with any queries I had. I’m so glad I decided to fly over to Manchester and get the procedure done. The clinic was very clean and I even got to watch films during the procedure. The team constantly checked I couldn’t feel anything while getting the procedure done and frequently gave me breaks when I needed them to stretch my legs. The whole team at Harley street has been great and really put me at ease. A week on from the procedure my doner area has more or less healed. Friends and family are amazed at how good it looks and couldn’t tell I had a transplant apart from my new hairline. I have had a really great experience with HSHTC. All of my worries and doubts were put to ease, I had help with travel and accommodation and the procedure itself was a really enjoyable experience for me. From start to end, Harley Street gave me a comfortable and relaxing experience. From the initial consultation with Sara, who gave me a great understanding of the procedure, to Dr. Tetiana who performed the procedure itself, i was made to feel at ease and my needs completely understood.

The clinic was very comfortable and relaxing and very accessible from Manchester, which was important to me as i wanted to be at home in the coming hours and days, rather than traveling through airports and flying on planes should I have opted for a procedure abroad. Being in comfort immediately afterwards was the most important thing for me and i was home within 30 mins.

The two support clinicians who aided with my procedure were brilliant and conversation with them made the time fly by.

Lunch was provided at 12pm, although i opted to bring my own, but i was taken care of throughout the day and couldn't have wished for more.

The aftercare instructions and guidance were easy to understand, down to small details such as using antihistamines to stop the itching (which was really useful to know!). I returned to work 2.5 weeks after the surgery, with no visible signs of surgery. I was extremely pleased with how quickly my healing process was (approximately 10-12 days).

Sara has followed up once to see how I am doing, and we have a 2nd call planned soon.

Initially, I had some apprehensions about getting my Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure done, as I was unsure about how it would turn out.
