I paid over $2,000.00 for custom made blinds, made to measure. The blinds haven’t been installed properly and my property has been damaged in two areas. At the moment I’m waiting for the staff to get back to me with an outcome. I will post more later.

The lady providing the initial assessment was very helpful, and provided us with curtains we like. The delay in delivery was probably unavoidable. Then every thing went very bad.
1 The insistance that full payment be made before we could even see the curtains is very unprofessional. We had paid $1000 as deposit. It is normal for final payment to be made after final approval.
2 The installation was never done. The men delivered the curtains, but said we needed different fittings etc then disappeared.
3 We rang Victory curtains to ask what was going on after waiting a week, and was told that the job of hanging the curtains was signed off,
4 I agreed to new tracks and received a description of all the tracks to choose from. I found this was confusing, as I did not know which one to choose. It was also, I considered, very expensive.
5 I had to employ a local handyman to lower the railing by 5 cm , a simple task that the men sent to install should have done. This could have been anticipated by the lady who measured the curtains
6 I had to purchase more rollers from another curtain shop. Efficient installers would have had them in their van.
7 The curtains are well made, and look beautiful now they are hung.
I would never recommend Victory curtains to anybody

I had 2 sets of curtains installed and 2 plantation shutters (total $7,000). The shutters were ok, but both sets of curtains were problematic: not enough carriers for the hooks, both are too short, the stitching on one set is unfinished, the wrong ends were delivered for one of the curtain rods.
I would have thought that a company as well known as Victory would be able to get some basic curtains right. I'm still waiting for the faults to be rectified, and they were originally installed on 17th June.
