"Thieves…"

I had a delivery this week and received a receipt for £20.04 and then subsequently charged an additional £22.04 and when I queried it my complaint wasn’t addressed only a big standard response not relevant to query - I have emailed 3 times and no response- what a load of thieves never using a delivery from them again- I am housebound so couldn’t get out and needed urgent supplies

Not at ethical or customer focused as they claim to be. Accidentally ran over my stay in their carpark due to medical emergency. Was parked for 13 minutes too long. Contacted customer services and told must contact the parking company, asked for call back from supervisor. Promised a call in 3 days. They never called, contacted them again to be told, the company won’t advocate on my behalf and must appeal parking firm. Didn’t care about mitigating circumstances.
Ethical BS just a front, their just another corp with no care for their customers.

Similar to many of the complaints here - I have now been let down twice on delivery.

They don't tell you that the order isn't coming, the time slot just comes and goes and it's then down to you to 'cancel' it which should trigger the refund which they say takes 3-5 days - in itself this is outrageous.

My order didn't arrive on 9th of March and to date I am still chasing the refund. They illegally hold my money and I'm getting no response on X at all - other than robot answers.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the coop, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with a sense of organization and efficiency.
The layout of the coop was exceptional, with clearly marked aisles and sections making it easy to navigate and find exactly what I needed. Whether I was browsing for groceries or seeking out specific items, everything was neatly arranged and easily accessible. This made my shopping experience not only convenient but also enjoyable.
One aspect that truly stood out to me was the cleanliness of the coop. Everywhere I looked, it was evident that cleanliness and hygiene were top priorities. The floors were spotless, shelves were neatly organized, and products were well-maintained. This attention to cleanliness not only enhanced the aesthetics of the coop but also instilled confidence in the quality of the products available.

A few years ago I picked up a membership card from my local Co op then registered online as requested. I was sent a card and fob to use in store. Despite collecting the sign up card from my local store, sometimes it works and other times I'm told I have the wrong card and they can not offer the discount. I literally only have the card for the sandwich meal deal and am shocked at how different members of staff scan the same loyalty card but get different answers. You need to sort this out co op, if I have a tesco club card it just scans and works at all their stores.

Appalling delivery service and its been like this for well over a year. I had to stop using them because 8 orders out of 10 didn't turn up. I`d have to repeatedly call the customer help line then get promised I would receive it within the hour then have to call again an hour later. I have orders 6 hours late. Often when it rains I get notifications that due to adverse weather conditions my order will be late. Adverse weather conditions? What? When its raining? This is the UK we live in. It rains a lot. Getting an order from my closest store on a sat or Sun I didn't even try again after my 1st 2 attempts. Yet I notice when my order is running hours late and they are obviously having trouble with getting couriers they continue to take orders on the website.

Absolutely disgraceful management in London Cricklewood store. I was accused of stealing because I was using 2 cards. Which is something I was doing for years. No apology given and the person doing that was an actual manager. Rude, incompetent, and somehow "entitled" person. Don't buy there. I feel sorry for their staff to deal with him...

Just found out that the CO-OP have stopped doing Free Range Chicken products in exchange for some other ridiculous scheme to save money...very disappointed and won't be buying chicken from them until they change their policy...thought they were supposed to be an ethical company going forward, but they have shown themselves to be going backwards...shame on whoever came up with this scheme...people will pay the extra for animal products from humane conditions and it's not even as if the customers were given a choice or a say in the matter...

"Rip off merchants"

So I went to my local store in Cadbury Heath to pick up a few groceries. Many of the items I wanted were an extortionate price, but showed up as much more reasonable with a club card. I asked at the till about it and was given the stuff to fill in and paid my £1 all ready for next time. On my next visit, I chose a few"bargains" from the club card offerings and went to the till. To my amazement, I was told that I was in a Coop southern and the card didn't apply there. So why the hell was I sold it in the pretence it was usable in the shop I bought it in. Will walk to the nearest Tesco in future. Absolute joke of an outfit!!
