They were horrible, I eat a few mouthfuls, it was tough and tasteless and it was binned , don't touch this product !!!

Katie in the Melksham store. The one near Forest, was replenishing the shelves when she was called to the till.
The man she served was polite and wished Katie a good evening
She was so engrossed in her work phone apparently and ignored the customer. Having been a store manager for 27yrs, I found this unacceptable. I told Katie that the man had bid her to have a nice evening. She was quick to blame the work phone. Her service to me after that was pretty non existent. I am not surprised at the poor ratings if this type of service is acceptable. Especially with the prices you charge....Very questionable, the service does not match the price.

I am replying on behalf of a ltd co business I am part of. Coop Business Banking company with absolutely zero credibility, professionalism or integrity. I made an application for a business account for a serious business - 15 to 20 staff with world leading experts with over 30 yrs experience in the sector. I get some bizarre private messages from someone who clearly doesn't understand business and I reply to them. I suggest lets speak by phone. Account is then declined. I make complaints. I keep getting bombarded with emails saying "u have a message please supply further data". I log into the portal ... there are no messages to reply to. I keep getting told my application was "declined" - no reasons given. This happens about 8 times. I get a letter from the dept. I call back and they promise a call from someone snr in the dept within 2 days. But I get no call back. I then get another 8 or so messages across Nov and Dec and told to "log in to reply" but there is nothing in the portal to reply to and I get told my application was "declined".I call again later in Dec and am told it would take 8 weeks more (already taken 6 weeks) to review it. Or I could "reapply". This company has no professionalism, no competence, no courtesy, no integrity. Evidently I am far from the only person or business to have found this out. To think that I chose Coop because they claimed to be "ethical". In fact they are as bad as ANYONE! I hope Coop Bus Banking is closed down and others are saved the hassle I have had.

"Exceptional Service and with a smile"
Went into Lawrence Weston Co Op today for some shopping and was served at the checkout by a most polite delightful young lady. She rang up my goods and when I presented my bank card said when I called in a couple of days ago I had a loyalty card she then informed me that I had it with me I would get a membership discount on my shopping. I did have it with me and saved £2. Not a massive amount but every penny counts at the moment. Was most impressed that she recognised me, was very cheerful and helped me make a saving. Annila was very helpful on the phone with helping solve a problem!
My only problem is with the set up of banking, especially online banking. I have a credit card and business debit card with Coop, and it seems like I have endless passwords, usernames, codes, etc to keep on top of. Coop could really improve their online banking, and streamline their security settings a lot.

"Don't get charged twice"
I tapped my debit card and the screen said my transaction was approved but the person behind the til said you have to tap it again, it did not go through I argued with her but she kept arguing back so I tapped it again it said approved again. When I viewed my bank statement I was debited twice so I went back to the store and spoke to the manager who said that this happens all the time and not to worry within a few days I will receive my money back. It's been a week I still don't have my money back please watch when you're paying at the till that this doesn't happen to you.

Here I am again writing another review for Burry Port co-op. They have a brand new store and yet again CAN NOT BE BOTHERED TO STACK SHELVES. never any bread,milk,butter or many staples you go to pick up at your local shop. And I am sick and tired of hearing the staff bitterly complaining and she can not wait to go home cause she has had enough,can't stand anymore. And the lady in front who obviously couldn't stand her moaning told her straight 'well why don't you quit cause everytime I come in you moan' I agreed and let somebody who wants to work there have a chance. So Co-Op for gods sake do something as everybody I know now goes to the Premier who's shelves always have bread and milk,butter,coffee that I/everybody else is now buying there. And the self service tills are absolutely usless,I used my own bag so when I was packing it as I scanned the alarm kept going off so the rude/crude woman kept shouting 'STOP MOVING THE BAG' in front of everybody in store. So yes I emptied the bag on the till and picked my bag up and turned to walk out and she had the cheek to shout WHERE ARE YOU GOUNG,YOU HAVE STUFF ON THE TILL' so I politely told her she can put them back on the shelf to remind her of what replenishing the stock on shelves looks like. AVOID THIS CO-OP AS THE SHELVES ARE NEVER STOCKED AND THE STAFF DO NOT WANT TO WORK AND ARE RUDE EXCESSIVELY RUDE. It's a shame I have to leave 1 star which this store does not deserve.

"Just a shambles... All of it "
Just a shambles. And I'm talking about co-op stores in general across the south coast and beyond. Big queues whilst noisy machines bleep for deliveries. More attention paid to the Internet than the local people who shop in person every day. I've been in sales/retail /customer service for over 35 years..... Whomever is in charge of their staff training and monitoring should be sacked immediately.
Seriously, I don't get a "hello", "please" or "thank you". Almost all of the staff in Shoreham, Brighton, Hove and Saltdean are simply the WORST POSSIBLE type of people to be customer-facing. You have competition. And it's better.
Sort it out. It's beyond unacceptable, and my money will be spent elsewhere even though if means further travel.

2 orders within 7 days haven't been delivered at all. I received a generic 'We're experiencing delays'message about 45 mins after 'Order Picked' email received, only to receive no further communication whatsoever. Why take the orders, if you haven't got the resources to deliver them? I won't be let down a third time.
