Further to the problems that I had with the faulty side glass panel to my front door. The problem has now been rectified by Northern Trade Windows,it has been replaced. They have apologized for the long delay, saying that they had internal problems which have now been resolved.

"Extremely frustrating and disappointing."
We bought a front and back door and windows from them and had nothing but trouble, first it wasn’t hung properly and had a big gap, then we’ve had issues with two locks breaking and today the door handle snaps off in my hand. The windows weren’t much different either one of them doesn’t close properly on the lock setting. Very poor customer service when they reply, well you’ve got a back door haven’t you. The quality of the front door is starting to look older too now (another thing we are having to chase them up about). Since me posting about the poor workmanship and poor customer care afterwards we are starting to make progress and a new door slab has been order and is due to be fit after christmas.
After leaving my original review they have been onto me to change it, which I have to a certain degree and I will then modify my review further in accordance with the outcomes we get in the New Year.

"Extremely disappointing!"
The company have barely returned any phone calls and when they do they are unable to help you, if you are ringing to speak to someone they say that they aren't available and will pass a message on however they rarely return phone calls. The aftercare is shocking, they are happy to take your money and then ignore any issues which may arise afterwards. I have been waiting months for problems to be resolved.
I wouldn't recommend this company and would advise anyone to look elsewhere.

I had eleven windows and a composite door fitted in March last year. Unfortunately there was quite a lot of things which needed putting right. I am pleased to say that thanks to Matt this work has now all been completed along with a new door. The windows and door look really good now.

"A claim waiting to happen Cowboys"
The day before the window's were due to be fitted. We recieved a phone call ( late in the day)
Saying they may not be able to fit the windows because one of the fitters had nearly cut his own finger off. AT WORK.. Talk about Health and safety In the workplace..
Then when the lads turned up.. One said He would have to drill some holes in my decking..
TO SUPPORT HIS LADDER.. Cause he had fallen off one before.. And didnt want to again

Had these widows fitted on Friday, by the Tuesday after the bank holiday they were already hounding me for the balance, and continued to leave messages, I had no intention of not paying and was away, just really did not appreciate the phone calls, not good customer service in my book, would not recommend as per the review below!

JUST HAD A NEW KITCHEN & CONSERVATORY FITTED BY NTW AND I AM VERY IMPRESSED. ALL THE FITTERS WERE POLITE & PROFESSIONAL & ALL STARTED WORK EARLY MORNING & PUT IN FULL DAYS. THE QUALITY WAS VERY GOOD & BOTH INSTALLATIONS LOOK FANTASTIC BUT A SPECIAL MENTION TO JOHN WHO INSTALLED OUR CONSERVATORY HE WAS SUCH A HARD WORKER & THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK RIGHT DOWN TO THE LAST FINISHES WAS FAULTLESS .. WELL DONE NTW

"Service is definitely no frills from…"
Service is definitely no frills from the initial sales visit through to a pretty average performance by the fitters. Contact with the installation manager (Phil) was the real low point however. He is verbally aggressive to the extend of being rude. Our newly installed windows were not cleaned properly and I advised him that I was struggling to shift some sort of film coating. He told me that a 75p window cleaning liquid from Aldi would do the job. I told him I refused to pay £11,000 and do the cleaning myself and that he wouldn’t get a penny until the job was done.
The sole employee who gave a good service was the surveyor who took the window measurements and also returned as the cleaner.

Be wary of this company-
I get the impression of intentions of a hard sell once they come out.
Spoke to a very nice chap in Morrison's who was running a stand- we had already got a couple of quotes for replacing the conservatory roof but since he was there and they had an offer of £500 off, figured would get a quote.
Gave details and a few hours later had a call from Steve from sales to confirm booking.
When I explained that my partner was out on the night planned but I would be there, I was told that they would only come out if both myself and my partner were there - the reason given that " We have some products other firms don't have to run through with you and also want to be able to answer both your questions as were a small team and couldn't come back."
So much for consumer wishes when I explained I was happy for them to come out and just speak to me and I would pass the details on. Still a refusal so cancelled appointment.
Whilst these are only my views- this seems like a rubbish business model- demanding who has to be in your own house to speak to traders you are asking for a quote to do work on your own house. I envisage that by having both people present there would be the hard sell pushing you to try and sign you up there and then as they have negated the " I'll wait and speak to the other half " get out.
