Great customer service from start to finish. First time designing a patch, Mart was very helpful and correspondence was easy. Patches came out perfect and on time.

Aviator Gear recently hand-made an incredibly detailed, scale, model of an Apache AH-64 helicopter for me, and it was worth every penny and then some. The old saying, “You get what you pay for.”, certainly holds true here.

My wife and I gave it to our son-in-law, a retired Apache pilot, himself, as a retirement gift, and he loves it (He could not believe the amount of accurate detail that went into the making of this model.).

Cristina Reyes, a Senior Designer at Aviator Gear, was extremely helpful and in constant contact with me throughout the entire 10 plus week design and production process.

I am extremely happy with Aviator Gear and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a detailed, scale model of an aircraft hand-made for themselves or as a gift for someone else. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

"Slow and frustrating"

My last custom patch ordering experience was slow and somewhat disappointing. It took a long time to get to an initial proof. The initial proof didn't match the artwork because Aviator Gear could not sew small details that were included in the artwork that they themselves created. They didn't even attempt to sew those details... they just left it out and told me it couldn't be done as they sent back the proof. After making changes to the artwork, a second proof was also slow to produce, and also didn't match the artwork. It took another long delay to get a new proof that matched the approved artwork. I finally received patches about 3 weeks after approving the final proof and nearly 3 months after beginning the process.

The patches are fine, but honestly are nothing special and are less detailed than those I have seen from competitors. I had good experiences with this company in the past, but would never go back or recommend them to a friend or colleague.
