"I had been getting so many unwanted…"
I had been getting so many unwanted emails and cookies from these guys I was finally worn down and ordered a pair of Taft "Clint" dress shoes in Black size nine...The shoes were advertised as "high quality" men's dress shoes with some flair...The shoes arrived 1 day later but upon inspection were the absolute worst quality paper thin, rigid leather uppers...The Goodyear welt sole was cheap chinese injection molding with faux stitching..The size 9 D width was more like a size 8 1/2 narrow, and would not even fit my foot...I have worn a size 9 D in all footwear for 35 years and these shoes were NOT a 9D...When I went on the returns page I found out for the first time that my return was subject to a 10% restocking fee...If you care about real leather and quality in your dress shoes, avoid these like the plague

"TAFT Grail Boot in Honey"
This is my first TAFT boot and so far I am satisfied with the purchase. High quality materials, first class workmanship and decent pricing, excellent for a handmade boot of this magnitude. I will report back after wearing and comparing to my other boots which include, Allen Edmonds, Loake, Frye and Ralph Lauren.

"The other reviews are ridiculous"
The other reviews are ridiculous. Taft produces high-quality products and charges what is necessary in order to maintain that quality. Every purchase I've made has been excellent.

"NOT WORHT IT! French saying: one must suffer to be beautiful."
Pro:
- They look amazing ... that's it
Cons:
- Had to buy insoles because I could feel the nail from the sole dig into my heel
- I think I lost all the skin from the back of my heels
- They cost an arm and a leg
In summary: I would not buy them again. They are the most expensive shoes I ever bought and I have so much regret. Yes, they look beautiful (I can't talk about the craftsmanship) but good lord, every time I put them on, my feet take such a beating.

"While their boots are nice"
While their boots are nice, the production needs Jesus. I was waiting months for a sale on the Viking boot in stone (because i cant afford it at regular price) and within a few hours of the black Friday sale, it was all sold out and wont be restocked till the following year. Customer support said they have been the most popular boot, but wouldn't you shift supply to match the demand if thats the case? The boots has been consistently sold out all year. Anyways, I gave up and decided to spend my money elsewhere. I do appreciate the other pair of boots from them I bought a little over a year ago, but in my opinion, they aren't worth the purchase without any sort of discount and I'm annoyed I was tracking the availability with this boot to only have it sold out before I got home and was able to purchase it.

"Customer Service seemed nice and…"
Customer Service seemed nice and professional, however i can't accept the response's so iv'e decided to just move on from buying Taft products. The shoes are very nice at first but they don't last and after submitting the first email, the customer service team basically confirmed that the shoes are only really meant to last about 2 years. I would understand this if the cost was under $150. But for $250 boots to come apart after 2 years is unacceptable to me. I have $100 Clark boots that have lasted vigorous wear over 5 years and are still in tact. After speaking further with customer service they finally offered to reimburse getting the cobble fixed, but why would i want to pay to fix a boot that has already come apart on me from normal to minimal wear. I was hoping they would of offered for me to send them back for another or discounted pair. At the end of the day that's where exceptional companies differ from the crappy ones and i will just take this as a lesson learned and buy better quality boots next time and make people aware. I will have pictures and more explanation posted later today when i have more time.

"Taft are great talent, great quality name."
I kept seeing their ads on Facebook and I finally bought the pair that caught my eye — the Gladiator dress boot.
This was before I seem Facebook ad scams, so I lucked out. The shoe quality is top notch. The leather is fantastic on these shoes. The sole stitching is superb. I wear a size 11 and those dress boots are the most comfortable dress shoes I ever bought. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone trying to step their shoe game up.

"i found TAFT from Instagram"
i found TAFT from Instagram. I bought their version of the black chelsea boot. I was immediately given a $20 coupon code for it being my first purchase. i'm a size 11. The quality of material was superb in my opinion. The look is very sleek. When wearing them i didn't feel uncomfortable or experienced any blisters on my feet. the base price was $290. For anyone that is willing to spend a little extra money for a nicely crafted boot, i'd suggest them.
