Waleed Mourad, our tour guide, made this holiday 5 Star from start to finish. He is an absolute font of knowledge, and works his socks off for the benefits of all. NOTHING is too much of a problem for him to sort out. On call 24/7! It really helps that he is pleasant, manner-able and funny too. He arranged everything, to a T. any hick-ups he smoothed them out. Other staff onboard R/S Royal Viking were soo attentive, nothing was too much bother. Our Cabin was cleaned daily, food provided was a great mix, and plentiful. I’d Highly recommend having a massage from the two Ahmeds. The little shop provides lots, and is often cheaper than some of the local shops and markets. Dawid is a pleasure to deal with.

My friends and I took a trip down the Nile and stayed aboard the ship for the full week. Our Johnson Holiday guide was a wonderful man named Waleed Mourad. To say this man knew his Egyptian history would be an understatement. Boy, I learned so much from him. He continually gave us information about trips and what to do. Never have I met such a wonderful guide on a holiday. Johnson Holidays have a great rep in this man. Waleed Mourad, we salute you.

We wanted a 2 centre holiday in Crete and had been struggling to get what we wanted until I contacted Johnson Holidays. Rakesh was super helpful and spent a lot of time looking at and costing various options and went over and above to get us the best deal.

So good that I have just organised and booked another trip to Egypt in March for my daughters birthday. Thanks again Rakesh for all your help and patience lol

We just had great holiday with Royal Viking cruise. All staff where very friendly. Thanks for great experience. Big thanks to our guides Waleed and Mohamad A Galil for lovely excursions and all fun we had together. We definitely will be coming back.

"A one-off experience, much enjoyed. "

We had a Hurghada/Nile Cruise holiday over the Christmas period. We spent 5 days in a lovely coastal hotel, LaBranda. After travelling to Luxor we boarded the MS Royal Viking, it was like a trip back to Agatha Christie days, the boat was fabulous and small enough to feel intimate. The rooms had everything needed for a pleasant stay, the bathroom was good with both a bath and over-shower with plentiful hot water.
The food on board was excellent, with the chefs doing their very best to ensure minimal repetition (so many different forms of potato offered throughout the week.). The gala meal on Xmas Eve was outstanding.
Definitely have to raise a big thumbs up to the onboard staff, they were so helpful and courteous, always doing their utmost to ensure a happy stay.
And then we had Waleed, such an absolute credit, he was our uber-knowledgeable tour guide. So lovely to be around and very good listening to his informative historical tales. We learnt such a lot!
All in all we had a terrific holiday and would certainly recommend this experience.

What an easy and helpful service to use. Susan was so helpful. I changed a few different things about the holiday dates, type of rooms trying to get the best price. Nothing was to much trouble. I highly recommend them.

"I booked a trip to krakow with…"

I booked a trip to krakow with Auschwitz tour. Which then they said it wasn't included. Then booked it again at a cost of £48 only to be cancelled a day before the tour. The transfers didn't show up even though it was part of the package. So all together the trip cost me £180 extra and I can't get it back off them. As a follow on johnsonsholidays have offered me £50 only payable if i take the review down. Which i felt they were trying to bully me into.

Excellent service provided by Susan with my river cruise booking. Nothing was of any trouble to her. Contstant phone calls and great attitude and personality in providing the best holiday deal to suit the customer's needs. I am looking forward to my cruise in few months time. 👍
