Pros. Great build quality at this price point*, Attention to details such as fret
- work, Materials used for construction.
Cons. "Few" accessories to customize the instrument such as: pickguard color options? like gold, silver or cream? Another super complaint hence my 4-star rating. YOU GET A "GIG BAG" with this purchase! NO HARDSHELL
CASE TO PROTECT THIS BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENT! AND, there
are none available in the market place. That Sucks! I want a case !

Otherwise, D'Angelico has a fine guitar here and worth the money. Cheers!

"D’Angelico Excel and Skull strap"

Recently picked up the D’Angelico excel DC in vintage sunburst that I’ve been drooling over for months. Ordered the Grateful Dead skill strap to go along with it. What a freaking beautiful instrument this is. Looks good, sounds good, feels good. A quality guitar that I’ll be proud to own for years. This one will be with me as long as I’m in this earth.
