"Excellence and British made! "
"Bought a Litelok Moto to secure my expensive motorbike Excellent lock, well built, very strong material. Also something that most reviews don't mention is the quality of the locking mechanism. You will appreciate that having a solidly made lock is great but the locking mechanism has to be strong reliable and flawless - the Litelok locking mechanism is all of these things "
A fantastic lock - wouldn't rely on anything else to secure my bike

"Really difficult to use and doesn't get easier even after a year"
I had the OG lock which was destroyed in a theft. It was obviously pre-planned by some dodgy sub-contractors working in my building as it was a circular saw at 4am after they left the back gate unlocked.
Anyway I bought the new one - a pair of Core Flex - as a replacement and have given it a year but I have to admit I absolutely hate it. They were also nearly £200 and unfortunately my insurance didn't cover the bike or the locks (don't - it was not a good time as I'd literally just lost my job as well)
The OG could be paired up as a sash, thrown on, and worn comfortably. The newer one comes with a wearable 'belt' adaptor but only for one at a time and takes no account of a curvier woman's body. So the option of the sash is gone and I have to put it somewhere on the bike.
The OG went through spokes easily. The newer one is impossible to orientate to go through unless it's a specific width at a specific angle. And Mercury is in the right house of the zodiac. Getting them out is even more of a challenge and adds so much time to locking up and unlocking.
The OG was fairly flexible so could be fitted into bags etc but the newer one is rigid in a really inconvenient shape so doesn't fit on a rack, a normal sized bag, or mount properly on the frame without bashing yourself on it.
When bought as a pair the OG had a single key, whereas these are individual. Minor point but you can't tell them apart and guessing wrong is really annoying.
I did raise a lot of this with them when I bought it and got told about the belt attachment, which was helpful but didn't solve it.
I can't afford another lock of the right standard so I'm stuck with these. It's putting me off cycling as something that used to be easy is now adding so much hassle.
I hope someone reading this will be able to make a better choice than I did. I'd buy the OG ones again in a heartbeat, these I'd rather put in the bin. I'd also like to find the thieves who landed me in this situation.

Excellent website and communication but most importantly a fantastic product.
Great product - what a beast. Strongly recommend.

"What a great lock"
What a great lock. Fits through my both front discs and wheel and makes it very secure. Another great benefit is its light weight making it easier to carry. For the money this way better than an ordinary disc lock as you could use a chain with it as well.

"Lock received in good time"
Lock received in good time, even though it was over the Christmas and New Year period to the Scottish Highlands. The lock will fit in various places on my motorcycle which is handy. It’s just a case of thinking where to put it to be most effective. The lock is not particularly heavy for taking with me on the bike when travelling which is a bonus and the quality seems great.

"Litelock X1"
Litelock X1 seems very sturdy, great feel to it and a good locking mechanism. A couple of great touches like the key hole cover and the coating. I hope not to find out how angle grinder proof it really is but I'm pretty confident it'll put the thieves off. Mine fits round my front tyre so they'd have to make 2 cuts ro get it off. Impressed

""I brought this D lock after watching…"
"I brought this D lock after watching various you tube videos especially Bennets bike social review, it is also rated as angle grinder resistant. The inner width of the lock enables it to fit over my front wheel that has a 90 90 21 tyre. With its square shackle locking mechanism it means it would need 2 cuts to be able to remove it, resulting in extra time and discs and batteries if attacked by an angle grinder. Using the lock gives me piece of mind knowing that my bike will still be there if I have to leave it unattended. I would recommend this lock."

"Excellent bike lock and Company"
I've removed the immobiliser from my Triumph Tiger 800 XCX and was looking for a high quality shackle lock to replace it. This was highly recommended in online reviews; very happy with it. It'll be ideal for day-to-day security and to take on bike trips. I also like additional keys can be ordered if needed. Worth the money!
