After posting my review and reporting Boxie24 to the BBB, Bill finally contacted me to settle the claim. I asked for a full refund, the return of my missing items, an explanation of how they were lost, and an apology—none of which were even acknowledged! Instead, they offered a refund only if I removed my negative reviews. When I didn’t respond for three days, they marked my account as “Not Paid.” I doubt I’ll ever get my belongings back since they won’t admit they lost (or stole) them, and they refuse to apologize. They’ll *only* refund my money if I take down my review, which is a significant breach of good business practices. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS!!!}
*This review will be posted in as many places as possible.* This is a SCAM company, do NOT trust them with your stuff! When trying to get my stuff back it was problem after problem. After spending almost $500 for only 6 weeks of storage, here’s the worst of what happened to me:
1. A rude delivery guy named Mike, leading a team of four, left my items outside my building instead of bringing them to my apartment, claiming I “didn’t pay for delivery” and that he was “too busy.” I had to move everything, including heavy items, myself.
2. Several items arrived completely broken, but the team left so quickly I couldn’t address it with them.
3. The worst part: Not all my items were delivered! A suitcase listed on the inventory is missing, and I’ve received no updates despite multiple calls and emails over four weeks.
4. The most absurd: They delivered a box belonging to someone else, clearly marked with their name and address. Despite my complaints, they haven’t reached out to fix this, so I still have the stranger’s stuff.
I’ve tried contacting Boxie24 via phone and email for a month, but my efforts were met with either being ignored or given the runaround. I provided evidence of every issue, but received little to no acknowledgment or assurance. Adam and Tara, the only two reps, repeatedly promised callbacks or emails from a supervisor, which never happened. Adam even hung up on my father when he called! When I asked directly for a supervisor, I was told it’s “impossible to transfer calls” and they "can't provide a name, number, or email” for them either. I’m starting to doubt a supervisor even exists! If they even respond to this review, that will be more than what I've gotten in the past month.
Why You Shouldn’t Use Boxie24:
1. Their website promises short-notice delivery, but Adam told me it wasn’t possible and that deliveries need to be requested well in advance.
2. The website claims you can pick up items directly, but Adam said this isn’t allowed because there are no attendants at their facility—it’s delivery only. (If I could’ve picked up my items, I might have avoided losing my suitcase!)
3. Despite claims of safekeeping and professional handling, they take no responsibility if they damage your items.
4. Customer service is excellent before they take your money, but drops to nearly nonexistent afterward—responses are often unhelpful or ignored entirely.
5. No visible supervisors or accountability. Only two customer service reps, and emails from “Bill” lack a last name or title—red flags for shady practices!
In closing, I’m down almost $500, several broken items, a suitcase full of almost every single shoe I own and several weeks of decent mental health. I’m heartbroken because my older sister gave me a lot of the stuff in that suitcase, including the suitcase! But it’s looking like I’ll never get it back now… Boxie 24 has refused any updates, refunds or general human decency. So not only will I never use Boxie24 again, I’m legitimately praying for their downfall. Give them your money (and stuff) at your own risk!

"They lost one of my boxes "
They lost one of my boxes because the delivery guys took the inventory picture wrong. They did not make sure all the boxes were visible in the picture. Then they offered no compensation whatsoever for the lost box!
They also initially told me on the phone that they could downgrade my plan if I ended up having less boxes than planned. But when that was the case, they ignored my emails to downgrade the reservation and I ended up paying more than I had to every month.
Practically good service, but they do screw you over if they get the chance.

ACHTUNG!! Wenn es geht würde ich NULL Sterne geben. Ich bin normalerweise ein sehr unkomplizierter Kunde aber hier hat wirklich NICHTS funktioniert. Meine Kartons wurden einfach nie abgeholt. Selbst nach Stunden in der Warteschleife und mehrfachen Beschwerden standen die Kartons immer noch bei mir statt im Lagerraum. Das Geld haben sie mir trotzdem abgebucht. Ein absoluter Betrug.

This company is super nice, flexible and well-priced. The biggest advantage of this company are the employees! Especially Michael D. who helped me figure out all the issues. I was calm the whole summer knowing that I have my things stored with them
