"We loved it!!!"
I took take tours bus trip to visit SFO, Yosemite, Vegas and Grand canyon back in July with my family(Indian). I have 2 kids age 9 & 5. I booked three months in advance and it cost me only $1050 for the whole family for the travel and accommodation(attraction tickets, food etc extra) which is very cheap. They plan it so well so that we can cover all the places. Of course its bilingual and the guide might speak more in Chinese but they will talk in English as well and I never had any problem. They will start the trip very early in the morning because that is required for you to cover all the places in a timely manner. So if you are some body whose primary preference is to cover places with less hassle, then go for it. But if you want to rest/relax more and is not particular about covering places, then this is not for you. They stop in plaza's for food where you will find different options. There were couple of instances where the A/C was low and people were complaining. Other than that we liked this.

We had a terrible experience in the Antelope canyon tour from Las Vegas. Our tour guide was EVA. We joined the tour for fun.
1. But Eva, our tour guide
made a terrible racial discrimination to Japanese people
in the bus.
We could not believe it when she started talking about "Pearl Harbor" in the bus to go to Antelope canyon, not to Hawaii. Her voice were getting louder and she was excited when she was abusing them. We were sick in hearing that. Especially when she talked about it in her language Chinese, she added more story about Pearl Harbor and Japanese.
She must not talk about her discriminated opinion in the tour bus. We are not Japanese, but we felt very bad to hear her opinion. That bus was for fun, not for discussing about her political opinion. We knew there were some Japanese in the bus. All of them could speak fluent English and some could speak Chinese, too. Only Eva did not know about it.
2. She also send a middle eastern customer to another tour without asking the customer in the last minutes. He was crying.
3. TAKE tour did not show up on time.
We took a cab in the early morning to catch the departure time.
But there is no bus and Eva at the bus departure point even though it has already passed the departure time. We thought we were left in the hotel.
4. When we booked we heard that we have a choice for the lunch such as a sandwich, but we had to eat a terrible Chinese buffet with $13. Because Eva was late in the morning, we had only 40 min to eat and going to a bathroom even though the restaurant has other tour groups, and there was only 1 bathroom for women.(Others were broken.) So we did not have a time to eat but charged $13. The food was terrible, Panda express is much better. We wanted to go to the next door, SUBWAY.
Anyway, Eva was late in the morning, therefore, all of time schedule was cut in short, not because of the traffic.
You have to hear Eva's terrible political opinion, schedule was cut in short because EVA was late in the morning, terrible food for $13 mandatory. We do not want to have the experiences, and to be a witness for the discrimination any more. So we won't take this tour and we do not recommend to take this tour if you want to enjoy your vacation.

"Save yourself"
I have never written a review in my life but there aren't enough reviews for this company and if I had read what I am writing, I would never have booked and I would like to save others from the experience. I booked a 3 day tour from LA to SF. Being from LA, I could have gone to SF myself, but I thought that it would be easier to take a tour, plus I would learn something. Well, this was the worst weekend of my life and I would have rather been scrubbing my toilets that weekend then going on this tour.
The tour guide did not speak any English even though the only language listed was English for the tour. The bus had tissue hanging from the vents. The toilet of the bus was locked and when I asked the tour guide to unlock it because it was an emergency, he said he didn't have the key. When I asked who did, he said he did;'t know. The itinerary said we would have driven along the 17 mile drive but that never occurred. On the last day, the tour guide demanded tips from us and when I said I did not have cash and that I would get cash at the ATM at one of the two stops we would make that day, he did not leave me alone during until the first stop and then matched me to an ATM.
When I wrote an e-mail to this company, they brushed it off.
There are many more issues BUT please please please do not book from this company nor from ctours holiday, whom taketours outsourced to. Save yourself the anguish

"NEVER EVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY"
First off Danny was our tour guide. He was useless. He didn’t help with bags and he was so rude. He took a bribe from a group of Vietnamese people so they could bring their bags on the bus when everyone else wasn’t allowed. He took a MONEY BRIBE. he asked me not to write a review because he said he would lose his job. He was just trying to make me feel guilty and bribe me as well. He came to me a separate time to tell me not to review or say anything again. They have different tour guides every day! They were demanding payment from us. They threatened to leave us there and told us we would have to take an Uber back to LA from Grand Canyon if we were late and that it would cost a lot of money. Danny couldn’t even speak clear English. None of the guides could. If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT GO ON THIS TOUR. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. ITS UNETHICAL AND THEY JUST WANT TO RIP YOU OFF. We had a miserable time and didn’t enjoy ourselves. The tour guides have no customer service skills nor do they know how to talk to people AT ALL!!! The driver was late 15 mins but he still yelled at us to be back to the bus on time. Also—- who gives a 3 hour bathroom out stop??!?!?! Whoo??? This was the worst experience of our families lives.

"It was worst 4 days in my life."
It was worst 4 days in my life.it was my biggest regret of my life.They wasted my 4 days.When we started the tour, they wanted us more money for service but there is no service even tour guide never inform us about places we visited. Moreover, they sold us 2 times expensive tickets compare with real price ,(you can believe that,we asked at all the ticket desk to make sure.) They always stopped at the paid activity.We cant never visit free museums and make free activity. Please dont join this tour if you dont wanna regret!

"2 days trip to Niagara falls…"
We took a 2 days trip to Niagara falls last week with Take Tours. We had a great experience. Very pleasant guide named Ruby with a professional approach. Hotel was good too. One family from India was trying to be troublesome and rude but Ruby handled them patiently. Worth much more than the price.

"The was by far the worst 3 days ever"
The was by far the worst 3 days ever. Anything bad one could imagine on a bus tour happened during the 3 days.
-a guide who did not speak a single word english
- at least 6 times they wanted extra money for stuff that was already payed and THREATENED US TO LEAVE US ON THE HIGHWAY IF WE DONT PAY RIGHTAWAY
- a daily shedule that was made of 90 percent driving a visiting chinese malls and 10 percent attractions (the guide gave us 10 minutes to check out the goldengate bridge in san francisco)
- the worst hotels (which were actually motels) with dirty beds and rooms
-and the list goes on and on!
To make it short,i didnt expect much but i got 3 days of hell on earth. There were customers who afterwards sued the company.
Never book a trip with them!

"do not travel with Take Tours"
We took a 4 days tour to Boston and Acadia National Park. It started bad when we were not picked up in NYC due to the company’s error. They sub contract a bus company and did not give our names. The guy at 47 Cristina Str was rude and shouted at us. We ended up waiting 2 more hours trying to get someone on the phone and finally were sent to Boston on another bus and missed the first day. In Boston the “guide” was rude as well... the 2days trip were nice but going back to NYC we encountered yet another major problem with transportation. In short DO NOT EVER TRAVEL WITH TAKE TOURS

"Worst customer care support"
Worst customer care support. I was a tour to San Francisco and tried to book a tour. Unfortunately, the tone of their customer care chat person was pretty rude, and they don't even bother addressing with name, and instead used "Hello....". Obviously bad rating and immediately dropped the plan. Who ever I was chatting with was given a "thank you" though. The reason I went to their customer care approach: While booking a trip, they deducted money from account and asked us to share the credit card front and back photos to confirm ticket. This looks like a scam to us, as my bank strictly instructs that such instructions are fraudulent in nature and should not be entertained. And before deducting money , they don't mention anywhere that photo of credit card and self must be shared. If they mentioned it clearly, I wouldn't have even bothered tried booking itself. That's why I dropped the plan. Very bad team.

"I joined 7 days tour for yellow stone"
I joined 7 days tour for yellow stone, Las Vegas tour and back to LA. This is the worst tour I have in these forty years. The only job tour guide did was ask you to pay 7 days tips on the first day and almost did nothing as a tour guide should do during the whole journey. No or minimal explanation of scene, very late statement on weather for clothing. He and the driver also Leave the whole tour at the motel without restaurant at 10pm where there was no restaurants open in walking distance at that time, whilst the whole tour have not had dinner who were freezing and starving. They even not dive us to the restaurants with 8 min drive.
