7-Day Southern Experience, Atlanta, New Orleans, St. Louis Tour from Chicago

Horrible tour I would not recommend to anyone. They will drop you at deplorable accommodation that is less than 2 stars. Dirty places, drunk people in next room with connecting door, and your room is on street level and open to public. First time we stayed in accommodation like this (Red inn) we were very unhappy and notified our tour guide. Second time it happened, and the place was even worse (Day inn, Elizabethtown KY). Our tour guide tried to help us rectify the situation, but the company does not care about their customers or their safety. Once they have their money they do not care about you at all. We rebooked a room at the hotel they had listed on this website as potential accommodation (Ramada, just down the road) and the quality of this place was significantly better than the dump they had booked us in (clear, secure, no drunk rowdy neighbours or unmade beds that had been slept in). They advertise like they give you decent accommodation and then drop you somewhere horrible and offer no assistance. Really terrible company and the people working for them should be ashamed.

Tour itself is just an endless drive. No information about where you visit, uncomfortable seats and you will get no answers to questions about the stuff you are asked to pay for. You will just be told to give them the money.

Save yourself the time, money and effort and do not book with this terrible company. They really ruined our holiday and are despicable people.

"We had taken a trip to Niagara falls in…"

We had taken a trip to Niagara falls in September 2018. Our guide was Yaro, she was fine and gave us some info. about the attractions. But somethings were not that pleasant. We were taken to some parks in the morning which was looking like a time waste, we could directly have gone to the falls instead as we were made to wake up at 6.45 a.m. The hotel was average, even thou it has name Double tree, but rooms were small and we crossed a couple of Double trees before reaching that particular one, 30 minutes drive. To add to it a particular passenger of 6 members had a Nasty boy who kept shouting and crying all through the trip. Our guide tried to handle the situation and also requested the parents to Lift their child from the aisle, as it was Sitting and Crying aloud in the aisle of the Moving Bus. But those things were Truely Unapologetic towards Other passengers for the Disturbance they caused. Hoping not to see those Ghost faces again. Only one request, if their child ruins their life, they can enjoy it But please donot spoil and Ruin everyone else's trip. We all paid Money for Enjoying, Relaxing and Peacefully travelling, nothing is free. This is a Group tour, everyone should Respect everyone else's space, time and comfort. Those things had No Respect for anyone in the Bus and just kept creating Nuisance and didnot Apologize to the fellow passengers. Everyone was trying to take a Nap during the Hot noon time as the AC was not working properly, but noone could sleep. Too much noise. The bus was not much clean as I could see chewing gum near the seat and all dirt in the corner of the seat. Anyways, for the money, if you have tight buget, you can try this tour. But if you can afford a little bit more money and stay longer, then search Google for tours where you will have good time and time to eat and little bit shop too and Not rush everywhere. Btw. we couldn't grab food as the bathrooms were having a waiting line and the time limit was too short.

Take tours booked a holiday for us with a crowd called US West Coast Holidays. The company in question were very unprofessional. Upon arrival at the pick up point, the bus was late.The tour guide (Rebecca) didn't want to see our ID or take our confirmation voucher. Her commentary was abrupt, rude and absolutely disgraceful. My wife has been a Professional travel agent for 20 years, and has never seen anything like it. On the bus, the guide only wanted cash from us. She would not answer questions related to the tour, she would reluctantly repeat a query as we could not hear her clearly over the bus comms system. This is only day 1. We had 3 further days of this with a different guide every day. I am happy to discuss this further with somebody from Take Tours. Seriously the worst trip we have EVER been on. We are actively turning people away from using US West Coast Tours and Take Tours. DONT BOOK WITH THIS CROWD!!!!

"HORRIBLE!"

HORRIBLE!! Went on 2 different take tours and regret it. Tour guides were horrible. They rip you off so bad. One example is making us pay $110 for antelope canyon when it was actually $48. They did this for everywhere we went. One guide (called Harry I think) continuously yelled in people’s faces for no reason. He yelled at me GIVE ME MONEY over and over and I had no idea what he was talking about. Don’t go on it

"The worst tour ever"

The worst tour ever. Our tour guide, Winter Zhang, is really rude and bossy. He has no manner at all. He threw our hotel key to our faces and made us pick it up from the floor. We were just few steps away from him, he could wait and let us go and take it from him if he doesn’t want to walk toward us.

He is also unhelpful and not friendly. He made that annoy face when we asked him for question when we are not clear. Really the worst trip i ever joined.

The tour also collect extra fee. The entrance fees are cheaper if you buy it yourself. They also forcefully asking for money for the Saint Joseph’s Oratory (it’s actually free).
Don’t join this tour or you’ll regret

"Worst trip ever"

Worst trip ever. Total hours spent on attractions/vacation on this 3 day tour was 10.42 hour (excluding food time). This is an extremely unfair/disappointing amount. I felt the trip was very rushed and last day was a complete waste. I was very disappointed with the service provided. Our tour guide didn't do his diligence and driver only care to not exceed his work hours.

We had the worst tour experience ever. The tour guide Zack Wang did not have any skill set to get be a tour guide. He was very Rude, very impolite. We had some senior citizens with us and he did respect them and was very Rude. He did not give any background about the tour. He was only talking about back time. He did not know English. He Coudnt understand what we are saying. He kept rushing us everywhere but he was always late to pick us up from the stops. The hotel accommodation was pathetic we had roaches in the rooms. It was horrible. Take tours needs to take strict action against Zack Wang who has been extremly rude and had threatened us mutiple times that he would leave us and go and we had to take uber and be back. We felt very threatened and horrified.

"Wish I could give them minus one star"

Wish I could give them minus one star. I bought a cruise for two from Pier 83, Manhattan to Bear Mountain. First of all, the indicated this location at the West end of Houston Street when it is on the West Side Highway and 42nd Street. Secondly, there was NO BOAT to Bear Mountain, period. They sold me a ticket for a nonexistent boat. I am currently trying to get Amex to rescue me from this swindle.

"Avoid take tours"

I booked the joshua tree day tour from Los Angeles. It was a swindle ! We spent 1h30 to pick up people and due to bad organisation some people coudnt get in the bus. We finally leave Los Angeles at 8 30 (my meeting point was at 6 45).we reached the Park at 11:30. There was no explenation about the schedule and no comments about the Park. We hardly stop 5 minutes at each stop, to finally leave the Park at 1pm! We stopped 1 hour later in an outlet Shop mall for an hour and half, which wasnt forseen. And come back at LA at 5. So i paid 80€ for Just an hour and half in the Park with no explanation. The guide hardly speak english (this tours seems only to be for chinese people). And they dared to ask a9€ tip !

"Horrible Experience with Taketours"

I would recommend never to book from this Tour Company. I booked a 3- Day guided tour to New York from Toronto, for the long weekend. And these people canceled the tour at the end moment, saying it is no longer available. They didn’t even call to inform us. I had done all the preparations and everything and they just canceled it.
I called up their 24x7 helpline, no one answered. And when the call was through, the lady on phone was so rude and illiterate, she kept muting the call whenever I used to start saying. I spent so much money in the preparation for this trip, we had planned so much and had to see friends in New York and they just canceled the trip.
These people are highly irresponsible. They couldn’t inform us about the cancellation on the phone but they are calling if we could plan it for the next week. And the lady on the phone was misbehaving with me. She wasn’t sorry at all. And kept on putting my call on hold.

Worst experience.. I wish I would have gone through this site before. But...please don’t make any bookings with this company.
