My sincere advice.. exclusive tour only for chineese. Never ever take this tour. The staff on the bus are very mean and treat you very badly. No manners to talk or deal. They think they are the bosses here ( just as though u are visitors to this country). They charge you unneccessrily for taking a tour in their on bus around san Franscico altjough the tour is to there. The service fee incured 8/ day including for kids is rediculous.

"Mislead customers"
I have bought tickets on the site of Taketours for a certain price. After the order confirmation they wanted to charge me more, because the price on the site was 'wrong', but they still offer the 'wrong' price on their site. So they try to mislead the customer. I will never use taketours again.
Update: I have sent an email and I have received an answer that te order was rejected. I already knew that. Just don't reply if you don't want to compensate. The so-called wrong price is still on the website.-

"Worst travel experience"
Tour guide and bus driver not cooperative. Too many additional charges. Too much time spent traveling with very less time for actual sightseeing. Not worth the money.
This tour is definitely not for non-Chinese tourists. Most of the restaurant stops are at Chinese restaurants. Hotels are away from the main city and even breakfast has to be purchased.
At Buffalo airport, few passengers left and the driver and guide did not check if the luggage storage door was closed. The door was left open and everyone's luggage started falling out on the freeway!!! Thankfully, nothing was lost but many bags were badly damaged. Guide was pretty unapologetic about this.
Worst experience and would definitely not recommend Taketours.

"Please please please do not book with this company..............."
Please please please do not book a tour through this company as they are the worst business that I have ever dealt with. I am well travelled and have booked hundreds of tours over the years and trust me this company do not care about your business. I had to make a change to my booking and called them 5 times and 4 times I spoke to representatives who then proceeded to cut me off despite holding for on average 15 minutes each time to get through. When I finally managed to speak with someone I explained what had happened and not once did anyone apologise about what had happened or even care about the level of customer service. I then asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for 10 minutes and the call then went through to a voicemail. The prices seem competitive but if you decide to do buy from them I wish you good luck...............

As my previous review Booking number ID: FT09-470-9257 I have still not received resolve and have sent 6 emails, made same amount of phone calls and nothing. No one has contacted me. This company is a disgrace and the customer service is non existent. I have now taken the legal route as had no other option. Worst experience I've had after spending a lot of money on trip of a lifetime DO NOT USE TAKE TOURS!!!!

They frozen my money. 2 days before trip after few @ tell me that this trip is not available and suggest me another one. I EU such company will never save on travel agency market.

Extremely bad...worst...Don't waste your money ..booked 5 days tour from Boston.. I can write pages.. They are most hopeless people in the United States of America... Chinese driver who spoke bad english would rather speak chinese all the time with the other chinese tourists .
don't be fooled by attractive pricing.. There were many extra charges..

Really bad. Booked a day-tour from San Francisco and it was awful. Chinese driver who spoke bad english would rather speak chinese all the time with the other chinese tourists in the car, who by the way, talked ALL THE TIME. No quiet time in the car. The time/tour was also poorly planned all the way.
I wrote a bad review twice of my tour on taketour's website but they never published it.

"Tour is not for Non-Chinese"
We took a 5 day tour to Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon and Antelope canyon. Let me just start by saying if you are non-Chinese please do yourself a favor and don't go on this tour. Our tour started off in LA and tour guide at our pick up location was completely clueless. He told us twice we weren't even on the tour as he didn't have us on the list. Same thing happened to two other couples. Finally we got on the bus and 15 mins later they made us change bus. Which is fine, it may be necessary. Our tour started with our tour guide Tom Tuan introducing himself to us and through the entire tour he would explain everything in Chinese and then provide a brief summary in English without providing any details. We finally made it to Las Vegas where we got off for lunch (keep in mind - only places they stop for food is where they have chinese food). We got 4 minutes late to get back on bus and he embarrassed us in front of everyone. We are on a schedule so you have to be in time but rules should be same for everyone right - wrong... if you are chinese they don't apply to you. You can delay the tour 15 - 20 mins and he won't say a thing. We would ask him questions and he would just ignore us. This is discrimination in true sense. We got to Antelope canyon and took tour to lower Antelope canyon. Cost of tour is $33 so he charged us that but our tour guide told us they were only paid $15 for group discount. So what happened to $18 per person he charged. I m sure they did the same for everything. He also treated you very rudely and made fun of you if you were non-Chinese and asked questions.
As far as Itinerary they cover a lot of good places but the days are very long. Sometimes starting at 5am. And you stay at most places for 30 - 45 mins except Grand Canyon. Hotels you stay at are not the best. They first tell you breakfast is provided and then once you get there you have to pay for it.
In short if you want to have an enjoyable experience with family this is not the tour especially if you are non-Chinese. Racial discrimination at its best.

"Bad hotels locations, Chinese restaurants, tight itinerary, improper management"
The 3-day tour to San Fransisco is not recommended at all as the LA to SFO distance is high, and you spend two full tiring days to and fro in the journey. They took us to Stanford University at 6 in the morning when it was still dark and everyone was sleeping. No point seeing an university like that.
There is only one organizer per van/bus, who generally are very busy. There is no one to answer basic questions/queries. I took the 7-day tour to SFO and Vegas from LA, Our day 2 itinerary was to go to Vegas. We got ready, sat in the car. We started driving and they tell us we are doing SFO first. We said that we were not informed about this, but the guide knew nothing about it. There is no one place / manger to call, help or complain.
They start the day early morning at 5 or 6. You need to be ready by then, all packed as you will have to check out and be in the van/bus. This made us feel tired and sleepy throughout the day.
The tour is more preferable for Chinese people as they only stop at Chinese restaurants. If you don’t like Chinese food, you have to survive on vending machine food.
The stop at hotels which is generally very far from the city , at outskirts where you cannot step out or even get decent dinner.
