Really enjoyed the 9 day East Coast tour. Our guide Sophia and driver Pablo were fantastic! Some friction where other travellers didn't show courtesy however Sophia sorted that out quickly & professionally. Hotel accommodation was great albeit out of town for the most part.
There were some instances where we were told to have dinner early only to find the hotel restaurant was adequate when we arrived. All in all a great tour and we would have no hesitation in booking through Take Tours again. It was a smooth process from start to finish :)

I have taken two tours from Take Tours. The reason why i gave four stars was because the first tour guide were not as good as the second trip tour guide. The Second trip to east coast was amazing and the guide had a lot of information to share and it was a great trip. Else they deserve a five star.

I have taken tour from you guys for 7 days east cost tour in NY. I bought this package from London.

It was not right that without informing us you are transferring your guests to other tour agencies. One the first day they suppose to provide me night free tour as mentioned in the email, let's not talk about that now. So was in the office of L & L tours that is 87 Bowery,NY. I reached there at 11 am on 2nd of Oct. I asked the people who was working there for my 7 days plan and my hotel details where I am going to stay for next day that is today and other following days, they told me that they don't know where I am going to stay next day on my trip, which has been paid before 25 days almost. They should at least tell me my everyday stay for next 7 days and plan for next 7 days. My husband and my family was asking where I am going to stay for next few days, I was like I don't know. How I can feel my self safe enough when I don't know where I am going to sleep next day in this Big USA?


After some arguments they gave details for one night and where I m supposed to stay that night only. I checked google reviews for that hotel and it was horrible. I was so scared for my next day stay so I called take tours and changed my package from standard to delux, so from now on words they suppose to give me 3.5 to 4 star hotel from today on words, I was in the office from morning and hotel transfer was given to me at 7 pm, in there coach. That coach bus was sticking like hell and I was like I have no were to go. They drop me hotel at 8:30 pm thay is E Hotel Banquet & Conference Center, 3050 Woodbridge Ave, Edison, NJ 08837

In the hotel it was just one lift was working to go to upstairs. We were like almost 30 people with big bags.Then I was given two keys for my room number 309. At mid night around 1 am water was dropping on my head and I checked my bathroom with fool of water coming into room.

I went downstairs at midnight 1 am to ask to change my room, the Man downstairs did not bother to apologise, he just gave keys for room number 508, they did not provide me room service either, I managed my self to go upstairs at mid night and managed to sleep.

I was told to come downstairs at 6:45 am. I was downstairs at 6:40 there was no one from this Tour company to bother and give me answer when my tour guide will come. There were already few people in yellow jacket from L & L, I asked so many people like when my tour guide will come, they did not bother to give me answer. I am supposed to travel Atlantic city today.

I called girl Name Amy at 7:30, and then she told me we have come by our self to NY office at 9 am using Uber. There was two other people with me as well. They asked to do Uber pay them and they will pay us latter on. Poor black guy paid for Uber for me, because they were with me and we all 3 support to go same place and we are travelling to Atlantic city together.

We reached to NY office of L & L around 9.they put us in very bad bus with lots of Chinese people who were coughing badly.

We reached to Atlantic city around 11:30 as they asked us to come back around 3:30. Greedy women from Atlantic city asked me more money for god knows why. Then I called Amy again and she talked with this Chinese lady in there language and then she said I don't need to pay.

I got my hotel details in morning and it suppose to be 3.5 to 4 star hotel right as I paid extra money yesterday only around 5 pm. They gave me hotel which is again rubbish, it's not even 3.5 star hotel. I am again worried and scared, I really don't know what to do from today on words. Please check screenshot I message the girl who is my tour guide.

I asked for refunds but they said I can not get full refund for this Tour, so I am stuck with this people for next 7 days right, God knows what will be happening tomorrow again.

I don't have much credit with me, else I could have books hotels by myself or do something.

For god sake help me, please please please help me and tell me where I am going to stay tomorrow night and rest of the days. I have no clue what should I do, if I will leave this Tour I have not that much enough money to do another hotel and pay and stay for rest of the days.

"Took a 1 day tour with them from Boston …"

Took a 1 day tour with them from Boston to Marthas Vineyard in Sept,2017.
Arrived almost 30mins late, 10 Chinese, 2 others and 2 of us in the 15 seater minibus. The guide who appeared to be chinese made it impossible for us not to pay an extra 25 dollars each for the guided tour of the island ( which was optional ) and which we wanted to do on our own. Most of info in Chinese. The trip arrived back almost 2hrs before it was supposed to do.
Despite giving them our mobile no the guides phone service said service unavailable when we asked him to ring us after he made the excuse of "traffic" and said he had rung us to let us know of them running late.

"Just did the tour from Las Vegas to …"

Just did the tour from Las Vegas to Antelope canyon. First of all, the whole trip was a chinese guided tour. The guide spoke little English and did not care there were non-chinese people on the bus. The guide was rude and rushed everything. She even threatened to leave people at Walllmart if people are late. 15 mins is NOT enough time for 50+ people to use bathroom. Let alone she went around woke people up demanding tips. The strategy may work in China, but in America you guys should know not to push people and threaten people. Basically ruined the whole trip. Unless you are Chinese, don’t book a tour.

"I don't recommend this tour"

I went to this tour with a friend a couple weeks ago and I don't recommend this tour.

The bus was on time but, it was dirty and unsafe. The bus didn't have sit-belts, it also didn't have comfortable space, and my sit was full of brans.

The tour guide was very motivated but he didn't have a good English level, he used to speak in Chinese I think, but I was impressed because I couldn't find any information that this tour was specially for a Chinese public. Also the passengers next to us were very loud and the tour guide hadn't done anything about it during the role trip.

The price seems okay, but I got really impressed when they charged us more 100 something after the tour had start, they said it was for the attractions, I looked into the website and yes this fees were discrebed there the problem is that they were charging us even more than what Niagara Falls and Thousand Islands Tour were charging the public. I got very upset about this.

Other important point for me was the way that they schedule the tour. We spend so much time traveling and stopping for food and toilet (we weren't allow to use the bus toilet) that when we had the opportunite to explore a nice place, like the illumination at Niagara Falls, we had just a couple minutes to do it, 30 minutes for the illumination.

The hotel room was totally fine, but also there is a problem, we got to the hotel at midnight and were required to be at the bus again at 7am. I have the feeling that I spend my weekend in a bus, stinky and dirty bus, I was more tired and very upset when the trip was over.

I would never recommend to experience the Niagara Falls with this tour, it is a beautiful place but some companies can definetly make it the worst trip ever.

"Tour guide was lazy and rude her name …"

Tour guide was lazy and rude her name was Trista chen who was rude, Bus smell really bad and driver was in cell phone while driving, Hotel we stayed in was cheap. I will never requirement any body to this and this page has very good review I think its all fake. I hate this take tours. They charged us for many things unnecessarily we paid 303.00 for tour but ended up spending 1000.00 dollars for nothing. They will get irritated if u ask question.

Excellent hotels.....Food was ok. They should have better English speaking guide.
