"Poor quality parts, poor communication. "

I went in to replace my iPad screen at ismash Kings cross, it was also found to have a small bend which I was told it was worth fixing so I paid the deposit for the screen, a week later it the new screen was found to be faulty. I then had to wait an additional week for another screen to arrive and to be fitted. After two weeks without my iPad which is regularly used for work was presented to me working . I took it home having paid £180, only to find a day later the screen was delaying to wake up and was flickering for a good 30s before settling. I took it back in and was told in order to get a refund I had to get my old broken screen put back on it. They then said they didn’t have my old screen in the shop and it was at the warehouse , which can take uk to two weeks to arrive. I feel completely robbed by the is situation and my time completely wasted. Why not tell me my IPad isn’t worth fixing in the first place rather than wasting my time and fleecing me of my money. I would not recommend Ismash to anyone. Poor poor form.

"Very knowledgeable and helpful"

Very knowledgeable and helpful. My issue was my phone was randomly turning itself off, I self diagnosed as the battery needing changing and upon arrival to the shop they told me that they would change it and if it turned out this wasn't the issue they would change the battery back and give a full refund which makes you feel that they are genuine people and not just out to make money.

"Faulty Repair & No response from the Company"

Great initial service. Friendly staff and a quick repair within the timescale provided. Screen is significantly inferior to the original iPad screen. Disappointing but expected. What I was not expecting was a “dead” zone on the screen. A small patch which does not recognise the apple pencil. In addition, the screen is always “on”. In a dark room you can clearly see the glow. This therefore drains the battery more. Since I use the iPad for keep notes at work, the combination of both results in the device being unfit for purpose. I have contacted iSmash three times now about this, and I am yet to receive a response of any sort. I am unable to find a complaints or support email address or telephone number. I may have been unfortunate and have received a faulty part, but the fix was not cheap. Whatever the service I expect the company providing to respond and help a customer when there is an issue in the service they have provided, not bury their head and wait for it to go away.

"Vlad at Oxford Circus was great"

Vlad at Oxford Circus was great, testing my iPhone 12 battery before advising me how to maximise battery life before paying to replace it. He could have just replaced it, charged me and sent me on my way, but he was completely honest and helpful.

Was very skeptical about putting my device in to get a new battery fitted but they exceeded all of my expectations and the battery is new and fresh with 0 cycles! For battery replacements these are my go to from now on!

"Great service on iPhone 13 pro max…"

Great service on iPhone 13 pro max screen replacement, done in an hour at bluewater.
The only thing to keep in mind is the screen refresh rate is at 60hz rather than 120hz but for well under half the price of apple I don't think my son who inherited the phone would notice at all

"Great experience"

Really great repair of the back glass on my phone. It was seriously smashed up and the team did it with no difficulty. I have a Samsung and they told me it could take a while because of leaving to register the repair etc. I asked them to be as fast as possible because my baby needed to get home and they did it much more quickly than they quoted which was very helpful.

"Samsung Galaxy S22 Swelled Battery"

My Samsung Galaxy S22 battery swelled on Sunday during charging, something I haven’t seen before, which is potentially very serious, so needed to be dealt with as soon as possible.

This is the first time I have used iSmash services, and my experience was perfect form start to finish! Booking the appointment for this repair on their website was so simple, also the reassurance on the phone prior to the appointment that this could be completed on the day was simply amazing!

Upon arrival at the St Pancras store, a gentleman called Ahsan Zahid took the time to explain the process and that he will do his very best to avoid any further damage which may have consequently occurred because of the swelled battery, but I knew I could trust him, and appreciated his honesty too!

I was fortunate that iSmash had the replacement battery in stock too.

Ashan did a super and professional job, all within just an hour, it was so good that you would never know what had happened the day before!

Full credit to iSmash, especially Ashan who did the hard work, but made it sound easy, and overall it was excellent customer service, and for a reasonable price!

I have no hesitation in recommending iSmash to anyone and will return in the future should the need arise.

"My phone screen broke on Saturday…"

My phone screen broke on Saturday evening and the technician at iSmash in Glasgow had the repair done within an hour of opening on Sunday morning.

Great service and courteous staff. I would happily recommend them to anyone in need
