I just went into the branch in Leeds Trinity Centre, and was served by Sayyam. They were brilliant, attentive, knowledgable and helpful, and assisted me in choosing a phone case and screen protector, and even fit the screen protector for me.

"iPad developed screen fault after battery replaced"
I have a 3 year old iPad that was in great condition and always kept in a protective case, it was just in need of a new battery as no longer holding the charge it once did. We arranged an appointment last Monday at the Bluewater store for a battery replacement costing £49, then my wife collected it the next day. Upon getting it home, I was initially disappointed as the screen now had a number of surface scuffs and light scratches around the edges that weren’t there before, but it otherwise appeared to be working and the battery was charging well. The next day a line appeared right across the centre of the screen. I’m obviously aware this could be sheer coincidence, but it just seemed too obvious that it was a consequence of how iSmash had handled and reassembled it. My wife returned to the store on Saturday, but was told there was nothing they could do as it was okay when it was collected, that they couldn’t order a new compatible screen in any case as it was not available and that they would ask their customer services to contact me on Monday as they did not work at the weekend. iSmash customer services haven’t made contact and I’m now left with an iPad that now has numerous lines across the screen.

"My phone was in Google warranty"
My phone was in Google warranty, but in order to get that I was asked from the same company doing the same service to go to another office 16 miles away in order to get the service for free as of the warranty. So I had to pay 75 pounds for the service in place in Kingston, as I had no time to go to Guildford for the free service I was supposed to get. Although they did the job properly, it is the fee that charge you for the same service and the same company which Google says is free when in warranty.

"Asked for quote to replace a cracked…"
Asked for quote to replace a cracked glass screen for the Google pixel Pro7, the emailed me back saying £290.00.. Google charge 180.00 (including getting a recorded delivery package to send the device to them) and EE also have same day repair and you don't need to be a EE customer either to use them, they also said it would be 180.00 to, So why is Ismash ripping customers off and charging 110.00 more then what google and EE charge.
I declined it and said about the quotes from Google & EE and ismash responded that its cheaper with Google & EE because they just replace the glass we're as Ismash will replace the devices screen in 12 months for free if it gets damaged, I pointed out that both EE & Google also promise you 12 months free replacement if it gets damaged, and nearly all respectable tech repair companies offer this service & guarantee.
They didn't respond, Not only are they blatantly ripping off customers they lie to make there product seem more superior when in fact they offer the same service & warranty but over charge massively but i wonder how many people have fallen victim to there over priced service not knowing that other tech repair companies offer the same thing for substantially less money.
Glad i didn't use them, can't stand companies that blatantly take the P outta customers.

I went back today, 22nd October
I did not have my receipt
The staff Arun, remembered me
He changed the screen protector with no fuss nor did he question me about it
Service again was fast and polite
Definitely a stall I would highly recommend to friends

"Generally just a poor service to customers"
On Friday evening I booked a Saturday appointment in Bristol for an IPad battery replacement. Drove 25 minutes to get there on Saturday morning to find a sign in the shop saying that the shop wouldn’t be manned all weekend. So why still allow the website to book for slots that can’t be fulfilled and waste your customer’s time. The shop is at the back of the Sky store in a shopping mall and the Sky staff had no idea where the ismash staff were or if they would be in work; I was the first appointment of the day so it was fairly clear the sign had been put there before the weekend and no one had shown at all on the Saturday. That’s not enough for low review in itself but when I contacted customer service about the missed appointment I didn’t even get a response. Not the best service all round.

After a bad experience with backmarket and mobile crazy I had to get a new battery from iSmash in Guildford. They were brilliant, sorting my phone and fixing another that we were told was beyond repair.
