"Booked a cab from delhi airport to my…"
Booked a cab from delhi airport to my hotel, the process carried out by Cabhit from booking online, to allocating me a driver and making sure I reach my destination was very smooth. Highly recommended to use this service as they answer any queries you have and will chase you up to make sure you have the drivers contact details so there is no misinformation.

"PUTTING CHILDREN‘s LIVES AT RISK"
We booked this overpriced service for one reason only: safe child car seats for our two little daughters (4 months and 2.5 years). The driver showed up and only had one car seat. So we had no choice but to take our baby on our lap for a 1+ hour ride including highways.
This is completely unacceptable and when we contacted the customer service they were unapologetic, ignorant and rude. NEVER AGAIN and be careful, families!

"Awful Service"
Awful Service.
I was travelling to Delhi with a toddler and I know cabs are readily available at arrival however I wanted the experience to be smooth and wanted a child seat so I decided to hire a cab from CABHIT for like 2X the cost . Regretted it .The Driver was late , he just assumed I will be available on the phone which is not always possible while travelling internationally .
He had my flight details and should have been waiting outside with a playcard as agreed .
The Cab was Dirty .
The Child seat was very Dirty and poorly maintained , seemed unsafe . The driver didn't even know how to install the seat
Will not recommend cabhit to anyone.

"Terrible service"
Terrible service. Booked cab for 3pm, to take us to airport, giving them 6 hours notice. At 3:05, no cab, text arrived to say "your cab is delayed, click here to cancel" - no info given about whether the delay would be 2 minutes or 2 hours.
Tried the cabhit telephone line - no answer. Tried the cab company line - no answer. Spent a panicky 15 minutes phoning other firms to get a pickup straight away, before finally a text from cabhit to say the taxi was nearly there - eventually arrived at 15:20 with no explanation or apology.
The entire point of this firm is being able to book a taxi to arrive on time. They can't provide that service, so there is no point in using them.

"not worth it / no vale la pena"
I went through their latest opinions and I found that more people experienced similar problems. If you book a taxi with Cabhit.com you’re probably traveling with children and you need a special seat. If you search on google “taxi with child seat” they are the first to appear. Then you probably arrive late at night so you’d like to have your taxi waiting for you.
In my case it was a trip to Edinburgh. The taxi provided us with a baby seat and only a booster for my 2 years old boy ( of course I asked for a special child seat). In my country boosters are prohibited for 2 years old children.
Then the things got worse. The driver told me that he was waiting a long time for us so a waiting fee would be charged. I asked for a receipt for the fee, instead he gave me a blank visit card and said that I could write it myself. Of course I refused to pay.
The thing I didn’t know is that in Scotland the taxi are not obligated to provide a child seat. If you travel with small baby they will send you bigger taxi with a place for a wheelchair and they will strap the boogie with the baby inside in that place. Bigger children can travel on parent's lap. On the way back we took the normal taxi and it was almost 3 times cheaper than cabhit!!!!!
If you read a small letter on the website of Cabhit you will find that the taxi can charge you extra if it takes you more than 45 min to get to the taxi counting from the moment of landing. Try to get through the passport control and pick up your bags in Edinburgh in less than 60 min and you’ll win a golden medal. Not counting if you travel with children.
To sum up, Cabhit is a really expensive intermediary which is well positioned in google and takes advantage of tourists frequently traveling with children.
If you’re travelling to Scotland just take a taxi at the airport and you will spare a lot of money. If you’re travelling with children ask for a bigger cub with a place for a wheelchair.
