Hi, I have been asked to write a review and our experience with Nextt. Our son, who has Down Syndrome is presently attending a Nextt day program and he is also being supported by Nextt in a 24 hour SIL faciltiy.
Our experience with Nextt has been okay but not always perfect.
In fairness to Nextt it has been a difficult few years because of Covid with staffing and supports, so I am writing these comments with hopefully a balanced approach.
I have found Nextt to be always open to any issues that we might be concerned with and they do listen and try to quickly rectify any situation and accordingly improvement have been made.
On the other hand with staff and administrative changes the original issues can be lost or revert back if they are not constantly bought to the attention again.
On the whole I would say Nextt are doing their best in an environment that is not perfect by any means and it requires constant persistence, determination and a willingness to listen and improve which I would say they are endeavoring to do.
I can’t give them a perfect score because we live in an imperfect world but they are doing their best and let’s see what 2023 bring.

Working under next for almost two years now and this has been the most supportive, flexible and encouraging company I've ever worked for. I don't feel guilty if I have to take days of for myself or my daughter, no guilt at saying no to a shift etc. Everybody is so friendly and incredible. Currently a support worker I want to work my way up. Nextt is my dream company! The clients are incredible also!!

I am happy with Nextt.
Especially it is easy to work with staff from the office. Fast response and supportive staff menber.
I also liked training both online and off line. It was very useful to have first aid for mental health few years ago.
The only reason not to give five star is the fact that field worker also need an encouragement and rewards from company. I recived flowers from Nextt last year because i recived good feedback from one of my clients. Flowers are good but I think something like the Merit Award would be better.
I am still learning so mamy things from my work. Also we sometime need compliments and reward.

"Loved working with Nextt"
I worked with Nextt for 2.5yrs providing support for clients with mental health issues through community access shifts, and in my later months as a support worker in SIL facilities. I loved every bit of working with vulnerable people and making each day a little better for them. Organizational culture wise, I particularly loved working with house leaders Julie Lyons and Liz Baker, and CRM Dylan Motteram. Overall, a very good company to work for.

Having access to schedules and rosters is a very important part of being able to work well with ones client/s. Rosters would be one of the most difficult jobs in any organisation. At the Coffs Harbour office we have Michelle Hayton who does an amazing job with the rosters and is easily accessible to discuss any issues or changes that need to be made. Thank you Michelle.
