"Perfect for first time travellers"
I went to camp with CA and couldn't have had a better experience. Everything was set out, organised and clear from the beginning and left me with no worries. Even when I had an emergency and had to fly home from my 30 days travel a week early, a member of their team went the absolute extra mile to help me arrange a flight for the next day without the astronomical price attached. For anyone looking for an adventure but might be worried about going it alone, CA is worth the extra money- They truly support you the whole way.

"Camp America 100% recommended :)"
Camp America is helping you all the way trough the process of applying, getting a job, applying for a visa etc. They also keep in touch with you when you are in the middle of your contract and after you come back home. I would nit trade them for any other company. Thank you so much guys!

Super trusty website and organisation! Pushed me to finish my application and get it done/out of the way so camps could start taking a look. Super friendly and reliable too!

"It wasn't easy, but worth it!"
It wasn't easy.. but worth it!
I've come across a video about Camp America on Tiktok and had a thought (lucky I guess) to give it a try. After few hours of research I dared myself to sign for free online webinar.
Few days later I opened it in browser, but being inspired by that magic of the moment and my habit to postpone everything I had started to fill my application form. At the end of webinar (I listened only partly to :D) I wrote all essential information, scratch of my skills' descriptions and wrote informal plan how to get myself to actually get through this idea.
I knew it wouldn't be easier from this place. On the second day I filled all important information about my skills, experiences and my preferences. After a whole week full of beating with my thoughts I finally paid the first installement forcing myself to sign for the interview.
There was no way to make it pleasant. Every time I have to do something meaningful for myself there is a ton of thoughts to make me run off from the idea. But I am glad I did it.
Interview was great! Whole hour talking, cracking silly jokes and analyzing together my own thoughts pertaining to the whole camp counseloring idea.
Be prepared for questions of cours. If I were you I would check some sites that have written possible question and go through them to get your story straight. You are going to show yourself better if you are confident with what you are saying.
After the interview I had just a week (to be considered for a dicount :3 ) to manage creating video for my application and sending all my references. Be prepared for it!
Camp America made it really easy about all the documents you have to send. You have lots of plain pdfs on their offical page about where and what to send. If you have any questions, ask your chosen interviewer and she/he will be ready to help you. Most of them has already gone through the process so they know what they are saying! (hopefully :P)
At the moment I am settling the date for official interview with possible camp I would go to! I am so excited and nervous at once. But it so natural. I know I am going to do my best and get this place :D
Best advice from me is... be yourself! But. I know it sounds so cliche. You can fool everybody but not yourself. Try do get better at things you think that are going to be beneficial for you as for the position you are applying for. I am not writing just about actual abilities (but these are must have!) but about working on your emotional and communication skills.
The time you start believing in yourself, there's no power to stop you from getting that position at the camp! Hope you get what you work for. A lot of patience, strength and joy during the process!

"recommend"
Too short a time to arrange all documents after the recruitment interview. On the plus side: clear website, helpful office and person chosen to help, good communication, attractive price

"The experience was great"
The experience was great. Normally I have trouble when given large checklists and many possible links, but the system felt easy to navigate and find the placement. I was confused at the short window I had to reply to camps and nearly missed one I wanted, but luckily, the customer support managed to work hard and get me back. If there was more freedom with picking your opportunities, this would be great
