"If I could give 0 stars I would!"

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was told a price yesterday for my move in 3 days. It was very reasonable and I immediately agreed and put in a deposit. I received a call 24 hours later explaining they needed to increase the price without explaining what the issue was. She went back to talk to dispatch to discuss the price and came back and said dispatch will not honor this price anymore and will need to increase it. I immediately explained that this is completely unethical since we had a contract in place and that the lady on the phone who gave me the price and her manager are responsible for this quote and the company should honor this, but they weren't budging. They have now canceled my move and and I am stuck without anything now 2 days out. Incredibly infuriating!

Moving wouldn’t be moving without some sort of stress. Although my pickup information wasn’t provided until crunch time, the crew that arrived Sprinter Van Lines did a fantastic job. AMF was helpful throughout each step of the way just like advertised.

For what it’s worth, your dispatcher needs a raise. He made himself available at all times.

"Great job on a hot day"

Great job. I moved into a tri-level townhome in South Florida on a very hot day. The team did a wonderful job, there was no breakage whatsoever, which is a first for me. I’ve moved a lot, and Jake’s team did a wonderful job. Would not hesitate to use them again, well done.

The guys for American Moving and Freight were amazing. Quick and seamless for them. I didn’t have a huge move but a few bigger items including a upright piano. Even though the item had a bulge to it, they handled it with care. I’ve referred my family and friends to AMF, and if I ever move again they’ll be the first company I call!

Moving is much more stressful than I imagined. Thankfully, AMF made the process as seamless as possible. Movers were on time and nothing was damaged. Highly recommend!

Do not trust these terrible people- not only have they been running my husband and I in circles trying to get our deposit refund back since the day we gave it to them and realized it was a mistake back in March 2022. We did not end up using their services, it has been 3 months and we have been told “the manager isn’t in” “you have to email this email” “you need to speak to our cancellation department” “your case is closed” “this is your fault” “this is your husbands fault” and have STILL not gotten a refund or a solid answer from this company. Not only am I glad we did not use there services- because who knows where are stuff would be had we trusted them with our stuff. Use a real reputable company, not a untrustworthy company like this that makes you chase them down for money that is owed to you and terrible service. Don’t trust their fake reviews.

They pressure sell you hard, stating that discounts given are only good now. They claim other estimates are bad and the binder you have is accurate and will stand. They also claim times of 2-3 days with 10 days being worst case. I've been waiting 3 weeks now with no updates unless i yell and scream for them. The estimate? The movers they sub out to demanded an extra $3700 and then refused to move some pieces. At this point, i had already taken a 14ft trailer load plus 2 pick up loads myself. Even still, they overcharged against the estimate. AMF claims that unless you have a "hidden storage shed" that you won't pay more than what's estimated. This was a lie. If you didn't catch it, they are a broker and sub the jobs out to the lowest bidders. My movers Mirit from NJ sent 3 guys that spent 2 days packing a small shuttle truck and spent more time smoking weed in the truck than actually moving my stuff. DO NOT USE AMF, they lie then get angry when you call for updates.
Well… most of our stuff arrived. We’re missing all our tools, anything with a motor, lots of hunting stuff, furniture parts, nuts and bolts to put things together, a yeti cooler, the kids mattresses. Things that did arrive came broken, scraped, damaged esthetically and functionally. So thousands of dollars went missing, thousands damaged. Also, there’s the bit where AMF tried to pay me to change my review and sign an NDA. Not a reputable company- stay far away. Wish I saw these reviews before I lost $17,000 cash and over $10,000 in home goods.
