"Avoid at all cost"
Pushy salesman Sean Cahill came to our house, and the rates were better than our previous alarm company so we switched. After we sign the contract, he sits on our front step and starts drinking beer from their van. Within a week the system stopped functioning so we tried to cancel but were past the 3 day grace period. They then wanted to charge us $300 to get a tech to fix it even though they were doing installs one block over.
We finish out our contract and call to cancel but were told we had to cancel by certified mail. We sent a certified letter of cancellation but they then stated that it was sent too late and could not be cancelled unless we pay $1800. NOTE: our system still was not functioning.
6 years later and I still currently cannot get any service to get the system functioning and they refuse to do any cancellations or even a price adjustment. I'm just waiting for a breaking or incident to occur so that I can sue them out of business. Avoid at all cost.
PS if they reply with the same phone number they send everyone else, you will sit on hold for HOURS.

Anyone thinking about becoming a Fluent Home Security customer? Think again.
This company is a fraud, and I strongly advise any potential customers to avoid it like the plague. One of their salesmen very deceitfully manipulated my 90 year old mother - who suffers from Alzheimer's - into switching from her current security company, and becoming their customer.
The deceit came into play when the salesman promised to buy out the balance on the contract with her current security company once my mother received the bill. At the time of the sales pitch, the salesman instructed my mother to mail the bill to Fluent within 60 days of receiving it - which she did - and Fluent would pick up the tab for whatever she still owed.
Unfortunately, about two weeks after sending the bill to Fluent, my mother received a call from the company, indicating that Fluent was not responsible for what she owed her previous company, and that Fluent had not signed anything stating that they were buying out my mother’s contract with her previous security company.
Hence, my mother was stuck with a $912 bill from her previous security company; as Fluent blatantly denied that their salesman made a promise to my mother to pay that bill. Again, this very deceitful, and slimy sales practice was done to a 90 year old woman who’s suffering from Alzheimer's. PLEASE do not do business with this company. Please share, thanks.

"This company is garbage...paid…"
This company is garbage...paid thousands of dollars for monitoring and installation over 5 years. Canceled monitoring when the time was up. Couldn't remember my login info or so I thought but it's really that they won't let you use the app if you're not paying. Wanted to change the code on my door lock but that can't happen because I'm not paying anymore. There are alot of better options available.
