"Best UK option for FUE hair transplant"

Had a hair transplant here in 2022. My results are very good. Dr Arshad and his team came highly recommended and they lived up to all the hype. The injections are a little uncomfortable but the rest of the process is easy. The aftercare pack and support is very good! From my research these guys are the best in UK for hair transplant surgeries.

i had my surgery in june 2020 and the process simply didn’t work. you can not tell i’ve had a hair transplant. some of the pictures you see of side by side transformations do not seem possible. the formation of the crown hair having a natural swirl gives it away.

i spent £7500 and this process did not work at all so unless you are willing to give up that sort of money with the chance of it not working, please don’t.

i was told that 90%-95% of the 2500 grafts i had done would take so the process could not fail. i was told to give it a year before assessing full results which never came. i am now back to square 1 and wondering what to do while having £7500 less money

"Bad experience"

UPDATE AUGUST 2024: I went to one of the best clinics in the world after the bad experience with these guys, cause I wanted a good transplant finally. And I can honestly tell you guys just DON'T GO WITH HAIR DR IN LEEDS.
The doctor was stunned by how bad their work was. Specifically the donor area, is now full of holes (1mm) that can't be recovered. Also, the technique they use is so old fashioned. I invested a similar amount of money and went to a really good one. Guys do me a favour and avoid permanent damage to your donor and receiving area and go to a good doctor, avoid these guys at all costs. I have no idea how they get so many good reviews and I don't really care. Just want to avoid anyone else the big disappointment and irreparable damage I had.

So, it has been two years since I've had a hair transplant with Dr. hair in Leeds.

TL;DR my transplant failed, you can't tell I've had a transplant at all, and not in a good way.

Just a little intro: this is not my real name as I prefer being anonymous as I don't like to let everyone know that I've had a hair transplant.

Everyone in the clinic was really helpful, although they really seemed more worried about not getting a bad review rather than anything else. The experience was pretty weird and a little dodgy, looking back now.

First of all, they've told me a price and an amount of graft and when they saw me on the day of the surgery they've changed the estimate. They've told me I would need an additional £1500 to proceed as I'd need an additional number of grafts. I had to do a bank transfer on the place and the doctor waited for the money to go through before he even started the surgery. I can forgive all that cause the consultation had been done in a internet all.

I was welcomed by a nice young man that (again, bit dodgy) told me I was going to get a har transplant "from the best doctor in the world".

The surgery itself was fine, the doctor has been there for a very short time and then the assistants finished his work for most of the time.

The main problem is that I followed everything they've told me to do to the letter and my transplant simply failed. They've informed me that there's a very little chance this can happen, but I can't help writing a bad review because of all the promises they made me and the big price I had to pay.

Also, if you don't chase them yourself for a follow-up, they don't really care for your yearly review. Haven't received any emails, text or calls since I texted them.

I guess this can happen to anyone with any transplant, or maybe they did something wrong. Either way, this is my experience with them and I think it should be shared.

"Avoid the HairDR. Terrible results 2 year on."

So I had a hair transplant at the hair by arshad and his team. Staff were very polite however the results were appalling. Paid £6000 for 2000 grafts and you be luck to count 500. During my 6 and 12 month reviews they told me it was looking good and even asked me to leave good reviews as they knew I wasn’t happy with the progress.
The hair I already had was covering up the awful work they had done.
I have complained and raised concerns through email and WhatsApp to just be pretty much ignored.
If you would like to see my awful results. There’s a hair loss forum called ‘hair loss experience’ my name on there will be D18.
Not only do they mess around with peoples money but it’s messing with peoples mental health.
You don’t just pay for surgery you pay for results which I haven’t got. Don’t been fooled by there photos. If you ready the forum a lot of people have had a second transplant as his work was terrible.
I went to see another hair specialist who told my that the hairs they took from my donor area had been split and there was no way I received 2000 grafts. Which you will be able to see from my awful photo.
I also paid £1000 deposit and was then made to pay another 1000 on the day of the surgery, this should have been a huge red flag. But I was blinded by the photos they but on there website.
Avoid this place at all costs. Some of my mates have been to turkey and revived great results.
Also for £3 a graft at the hair Dr you would expect better results.
My procedure was in 2021 but had to put 2023 on the reviews box.
I finally received and email back, only because I said i was going to cancel the direct debit. They pretty much told me that as I left a good review ‘which the doctor asked me to do’ as he already knew that I had complained. Absolutely horrendous company. Robbed me from start to finish!!
Just to add onto this to make anyone aware of your thinking about the hair DR. As my hair is growing back in, I’ve noticed that is pointing to the left, I’ve been informed they must have put in the incorrectly. Explains a lot as well.

"Highly Recommended"

I had my FUE transplant on the 25th March 2021 and I am delighted with the results. I’m 65yrs old and was contemplating shaving my head when my wife said there was another option, she made the initial contact and the Hair Dr response was superb, attentive and professional from point of contact and after being discharged. I cant thank Dr Arshad and his team enough. Friends and family who have seen the result say it’s knocked years of my age, all very complementary. There’s been a lot of interest in where I went for the procedure and who carried it out, I’m sure that The Hair Dr will receive more enquiries from my experience. On the day of the procedure I was at ease throughout thanks to all in the team who chatted to me all day and were so friendly.

"I am a Paramedic with two young…"

I am a middle aged man, working for the emergency services, with two young children, no wonder my hair has been falling out !!! Julia, Dr Arshad and the entire Hair Dr team you deserve this review !! You all are an absolute credit to yourselves and the UK hair transplant industry. The whole setup and experience is so professional, from the personable consultation to the unique and well thought out home care package (Love the giant size 7 day after care poster with pictures). They're clinic and team is so well organised and efficient, each person was incredibly focused and skilled despite me trying to tell them jokes through the day, they all worked so hard to achieve the best result. Believe me when I say I spent around 6 months researching deep into most of the reputable UK clinics and honestly nothing came close to the HairDr. Y es there are cheaper and more expensive options in the UK and abroad, however I very much doubt you will get anywhere near the technical skill, level of care, interpersonal approach, meticulous attention to detail and cosmetic finish that this clinic provides. Dr Ashad spent over an hour just getting the hairline markings in, looking at references to numerous angles with reference to bone structures, his incisions for the graft insertions were so clean and small the healing has been so fast and cosmetically immaculate. He clearly takes pride in his work and loves what he does. The donor area has healed in 7 days and despite 2600ish grafts taken it appears as if nothing has been taken. I was incredibly nervous about the procedure as ironically I hate needles, I had also broken my leg. They went out of their way to make me comfortable with fans blowing, chocolates flowing, and a massive cooked lunch. The anaesthetic did sting when it went in and the day was long (10hrs) but because the entire team looked after me like I was one of their family members, we got through it together. The Technicians are brilliant, do not underestimate how skilled the technicians are. They all loved there job and they were so focused checking each follicle extracted under a microscope, they even click counted each implanted follicle so you know your are getting the amount you have paid for. Julia the practice manager you are an absolute angel, such a kind soul, she will never know how grateful I am for her kindness and I will never forget what she has done for me. In summary, I 100% recommend the HairDr but only if your looking for a honest truly amazing service leading to pristine cosmetic results ! I am confident you will not be disappointed.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience before, during and the after care immediately following my procedure last week. Dr Arshad and his entire team put me at complete ease throughout the process. Attentive, personal and most importantly extremely experienced and highly skilled, The Hair DR and Dr Arshad made me feel so comfortable with their step by step walk through each stage during the procedure. They have a special team who really do care about permanently and safely fixing hair loss problems for both men and women. To this point, I couldn't recommend the Hair Dr highly enough. If you are thinking about getting this done or have concerns, just get in touch and they will be able to help. I look forward to staying in contact with everyone and updating on how the hair regrowth is progressing, as they certainly had a difficult task with my noggin but early results are unbelievable! "The best experience I could of hoped for"

First of all I want to thank Dr Arshad and his team for the best experience I could of asked for. I had my hair transplant on Wednesday the 23rd of September and after 2 days of reflection and dealing with the after care I can't honestly recommend The Hair Dr Clinic enough. I wouldn't say I was nervous but boy did they make me feel comfortable. Form the moment you walk in, Adam the office manager is one of the nicest guys and makes any worry you could possibly have go away. The procedure was completely painless and the facilities were absolutely amazing. Thank you guys again for everything, I am very very grateful. Now the recovery begins.

I had my FUE transplant on 08/09/2020 at the Hair Dr medical clinic in Dewsbury. I arrived at 8:00am and was instantly welcomed at reception by Sommiya,a really lovely lady who welcomed me in and straight away ordered me a sausage bun and made me a cup of tea.I then met the surgeon Dr Arshad,a really nice fella who talked me through what was going to happen and he really put me at ease.After having my head shaved it was straight into the procedure to extract the donor follicles and insert the hair channels, the radio was on and I was talking to Dr Arshad about 3 things we had in common,boxing,rugby league and NYC and the morning went really quickly and was completely painless.Then I had my lunch which was provided by the clinic.Straight after lunch it was the implant part of the procedure which was again completely painless and I also watched a movie on Netflix on the HD TV positioned at the bottom of the operating table.When this was all done I was given a cup of tea and taken back in to see Dr Arshad who talked me through all my aftercare plan and gave me a bag of medications to take complete with an itinerary sheet and video.Really enjoyed my time at the Hair Dr,the staff are all extremely,caring and take a great sense of pride in their work.If you are thinking about having a FUE hair procedure,I would definitely recommend the Hair Dr.Thanks once again to Dr Arshad,Sommiya and all the team.

Had a procedure done by another clinic in Yorkshire which was terrible then came to this clinic for a repair procedure. Dr Arshad was very detailed and understanding in his approach. He addressed my concerns and made me feel at ease. Hair transplant has to be done by an experienced and skilled surgeon like Dr Arshad as otherwise the density and direction of hair can be wrong like it was when I had it done first time around, I’m very grateful to hair dr clinic for sorting my hair out as I was depressed after the first procedure.
