A couple of years ago I had started the process of getting a quote for a new door. When it came to confirming a date to get a surveyor out, one of these guys I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude and kept asking for the "Mr of the household" (I repeatedly corrected him that I'm a sole homeowner, and it's Dr or Miss for me). I later asked him to repeat a question - he had called me in the middle of a meeting so I was distracted, I had picked up thinking it was an urgent call - and he said "aren't you women supposed to be able to multitask?" Despite this I allowed the surveyor to come out (more phone calls in the meantime always asking for the Mr of the household). The person who came out to my property then told me the discount that had been promised to me on the phone did not exist, effectively wasting my time as without the discount the quote was too expensive. Incredibly shady and dishonest. They have since called me every spring, and I keep telling them I do NOT wish to do business with them - which they ignore. In fact I last had a missed call from them just now, after I accidentally answered the phone just last week and told them similarly that I refuse to do business with them. This last call finally was the straw to break the camel's back and prompt me to write this. Do not engage, do not give these clowns your money.

Archaic sexist 'policies'.
Had this company turn up at my door. I do actually need work doing so agreed to book in a quote. Office called me to book in but refused to do so unless my boyfriend would be present. I explained I am the sole owner and so he does not need to be here. The person on the phone said he did. I reiterated, I am the sole owner and therefore decision maker (and bill payer) and that my boyfriend does not need to be here. He insisted it was company policy, and said it was so we could choose materials. I again reiterated that I would make those decisions and he refused so I refused to choose this company to spend my money on. Absolutely bizzare interaction and looks like others have had the same. I could understand needing both homeOWNERS permission if that was the case but there is only one home owner in this scenario. Having read other reviews it looks like i have dodged a bullet anyways. It's 2025 sort your 'policies' out......
EDITED TO REPLY: I don’t wish to provide my contact details as there is nothing you can or need to do to resolve. The call was from 01302898849 at 12:46 today and my contact number ends in 9768 if that helps. Your policy didn’t apply in this situation as I explicitly explained multiple times to your call handler that there was only one owner and decision maker.

No show of workman to erect a door canopy waited in all day within any communication from the company.
We had to phone to find out what was happening and wasn't contacted until 3.0pm to say the contractor wasn't coming.
Not happy about the communication won't be recommending them.

Everything about the experience was fantastic. No pressure from anyone, all the staff we had contact with were friendly and gave you confidence in the product. fitting team were fantastic and didn't take long. very happy with the whole process
