"Brilliant and Insightful Course"
A very interesting and exciting course for a certificate in mediation. Gregg, very ably, guided me through the course, emphasising different aspects of the mediation process through his own anecdotes and experience. As mediation plays such a vital role in the litigation process, and for resolving disputes in the corporate world, understanding different forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution is important for people to know and understand.

"Hunt ADR Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution"
Gregory Hunt and Hunt ADR have provided a very accessible and highly detailed course in the 'Hunt ADR Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution'.
It is no lie to suggest that Mediation - the core method studied in the module - is wholly underrepresented in academia today at universities, so this was my first real exposure to learning about it (coming from a student intending to enter the legal profession and who currently studies History!). The course provided a straightforward though thorough breakdown of mediation in civil and commercial dispute resolution.
The culminating examination posited very easy to comprehend questions that nonetheless challenged me to 'make the question my own', a challenge I enjoyed. During the essay-exam, I was again shown how consumed - still - mediation, largely, is by the world of commercial law.
Gregg was a fantastic teacher for this course and I cannot rate it highly enough as an introductory course for students to ADR.

"Interesting and insightful!"
I recently completed the Hunt ADR Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. It was a great course to introduce someone to ADR methods and what they entail.
The course provided in-depth, first hand knowledge of mediation and other ADR methods such as arbitration. The information was insightful in all stages of mediation, from when it is first suggested through the process itself and the potential outcomes. It was eye-opening to understand a method of dispute resolution which is becoming increasingly popular.
I also liked how the timing of the course was self-managed. The course can be completed over a few days or over a few weeks depending on the time scale that best suits the participant. This flexibility greatly suited me and i would recommend the course for anyone interested in ADR even if they feel they may not have a large volume of time to set aside and dedicate to it. As a recently graduated student, I personally found it very manageable and interesting.

"The Hunt course in alternative dispute…"
The Hunt course in alternative dispute resolution is an excellent opportunity for students from all lines of study. It is a useful course to have especially in the commercial world we are living in and disputes arising quite regularly. The materials were easy to understand and detailed, Gregg replied to any queries on the day they were raised. Overall great learning experience.

"CMA rules? Hunt ADR disagrees."
I have to agree with the review by Donna Cobb.
I cancelled a holiday because I was not satisfied with the service the travel company provided. I provided Hunt ADR lots of documentary evidence including from the CMA stating that deposits retained have to be a true reflection of the costs to the company, even backed up by the Chief Exec of ABTA.
In spite of the travel company withholding the details of their costs on numerous occasions, which would have served to resolve this matter without arbitration, Hunt still found in their favour. It does make one question the motives behind withholding it?
Furthermore the arbitrator, in the report has made 2 outrageous assertions that are tantamount to libel, a matter for which I will be seeking independent legal advice.
Yes I am disappointed the arbitration did not go my way, but for me the evidence I provided was irrefutable, and the assertions absolutely disgusting.
Reply to HuntADR - Yes there is an appeal for £350+VAT which you can reject as insufficient. I was confident in my original submission and have no faith in your company.
In addition to the legal advice I am seeking, I am in the process of reporting this matter to the CMA as the arbitrator has completely ignored their rules on deposits.
23 July 2020 - An interesting little twist in the tail. I have told Hunt ADR that I want to appeal the decision. I have been told, even if my appeal is successful, that I must meet the £350+VAT fee!!
So the response from Hunt ADR, below, is not accurate.
28 July 2020 - I'm not going to go on but an update on the appeal fee. Hunt ADR has told me that the fee is returned if the appeal is 100% successful. However, even if the case is overturned and you receive the majority of the claim, Hunt will retain 50% of the fee. This means if your claim results in less than £210 your appeal fee will swallow that. If you wish to appeal you will need to go through the courts to stand a chance of not being out of pocket.
