"Waste of your time and money"
I had a very bad cruise with TUI costing £2,500. they offered me £350 compensation. I rejected this and went with Hunt-Travel arbitration which cost me £108. I made my complaint and the arbitrator sent a shortened version to TUI and they replied.( I feel they did not do my complaint justice) I then had the opportunity to make a final comment. In my case TUI did not submit a final comment as they did not want to submit the evidence asked for as this would have strengthened my case. The Arbitrator took this to mean nothing in the final outcome and he also concluded that I had received £350 which I had not. They awarded a minimal amount which was for the 5 days out of 7 that were disastrous. They are now saying if I want to take this further I will need to pay them a further £350. I had a very good case and they made a mess of it. Funny how giving them more money will somehow help me win my case when they couldn’t do it the first time. I have made a complaint due to the error made by the arbitrator and will update you on their response. Well I received a response and they took no accountability for their errors so I have lodged a complaint with ABTA in the hope that they stop recommending such an incompetent service and give some recourse to those who have been wronged. I will continue to update this review. ABTA came back today (2.10.24)to say I should remove my review as I’m not allowed to tell any details of my case in line with HUNT’s terms. ABTA policing HUNT’s reviews???? Think that tells us all we need to know about ABTA advising me to use HUNT. My advice is to use a small claims court.

Extremely disappointed with his service, he was effectively a messenger, there was no interaction, he failed to put his foot down, he did not put his foot down to highlight to the parties of the deadly costs consequences. Never use his service

"Good experience for me. "
Following unsuccessful negotiations with TUI regarding a complaint I took the issue to arbitration with Hunt ADR.
The complaint related to a series of very late changes to hotels of an inferior quality to that advertised on the tour that we had booked.
Initially I found the User Interface on the Hunt ADR web site rather ‘clunky’ and not particularly intuitive however, after a conversation and a couple of message exchanges with Ella on the Help Desk regarding the uploading of documents, my queries were solved quickly and efficiently and after that it was plain sailing.
The process worked exactly as described on the Hunt ADR (and ABTA) websites.
Whilst I was awarded the case and received an increased compensation to that offered by TUI (and therefore a refund of my arbitration fee), I was disappointed that the ‘Loss of Enjoyment’ figure arrived at by Hunt ADR seemed not to fully take account of the time, angst and concern that I had experienced in trying (and failing) to contact TUI representatives on several occasions and therefore wondering what further problems the next hotel downgrade might bring. The Hunt ADR award appeared to focus on the ‘Loss of Enjoyment’ element at the hotels that were actually changed / downgraded.
Overall I would say that the arbitrator’s final decision clearly took account of our detailed submission and evidence as elements of that evidence were quoted verbatim. As always with negotiated settlements you will need a strong case with substantial evidence in order to stand a good chance of success.
So a satisfactory result for me.
Well done and many thanks to Hunt ADR

"Happy with the arbitration process"
We are happy with the arbitration process although the process did take almost 7 months but this was mainly down to Carnival dragging its feet in replying to any correspondence (taking the full 21 days to respond) which was cumbersome. The outcome was fair and the Arbitrator found in our favour. Which was hardly surprising given the evidence, Why large companies feel it necessary to dispute every complaint is beyond me, Just get the service right in the first place. Hunts website proved to be difficult to navigate at times but all in all a satisfactory service. A big thank you to our case administrator Ella Sufrin for your help.

"HUNT ADR are not impartial"
I recently had the unfortunate experience of taking TUI to arbitration with Hunt Travel Arbitration following a series of issues during my holiday. Despite my clear and consistent communication from the outset that TUI had failed to comply with GDPR regulations—issues that were meticulously recorded on TUI's system—I found the arbitration process to be anything but fair and impartial.
Upon initiating the arbitration, I explicitly stated that the arbitration company needed to review the evidence logged in TUI's system. I was reassured by Ella, a representative from Hunt Travel Arbitration, that the arbitrator would thoroughly examine this evidence and would ensure that the necessary information was obtained from TUI. Given these assurances, I had confidence that the arbitration would be conducted with due diligence and fairness.
However, I was taken aback when I received the final decision from the arbitrator. Contrary to what I had been told, the arbitrator did not review the critical evidence from TUI’s system. Instead, I was informed that my case was dismissed due to a lack of evidence. This was particularly shocking as the evidence was readily available and should have been easily accessible for review by the arbitrator, as per the reassurances I had received.
This experience has led me to believe that Hunt Travel Arbitration is anything but impartial. The failure to properly investigate and review the available evidence suggests a lack of thoroughness and a potential bias in favour of travel companies like TUI. The dismissal of my case on the grounds of insufficient evidence, despite clear instructions to review TUI's records, raises serious questions about the integrity and impartiality of this arbitration service.
Since the arbitrator's decision, I have emailed Hunt Travel Arbitration multiple times to express my concerns and to request a review of the handling of my case. Unfortunately, these emails have gone unanswered. The company's failure to respond to my complaints further demonstrates their lack of accountability and unwillingness to address legitimate grievances. This lack of communication only reinforces my belief that they are not committed to providing fair and impartial arbitration services.
It appears that Hunt Travel Arbitration may be unduly influenced by the travel companies it is supposed to impartially arbitrate against. This creates a significant conflict of interest, undermining the entire purpose of arbitration, which is to provide a fair and unbiased resolution to disputes. The experience has left me deeply disillusioned with the arbitration process and sceptical of the company's ability to deliver fair and just outcomes.
In conclusion, my experience with Hunt Travel Arbitration was deeply unsatisfactory. Their failure to properly investigate and review the evidence, combined with the dismissive outcome of my case and their subsequent lack of response to my complaints, suggests a lack of impartiality and thoroughness. I would caution others considering this arbitration service to be aware of these shortcomings and to seek alternative avenues for resolving disputes with travel companies.

"EasyJet Holidays 0, Me 1, thanks to Hunt ADR Ltd"
Extremely helpful, easy enough to go through the process, and very professional. So pleased my case is now closed!
EasyJet Holidays seemed to think it was ok to sell me a holiday that didn’t exist and not take ownership of their error! Arriving at a building site in Turkey, late at night, and as a solo traveller! Ive never been so scared! ABTA also couldn’t see fault? I’m still not ready to take another holiday yet, 14 months later but at least now I can work on myself and put this terrifying experience behind me.. Thank you Hunt ADR Ltd for closure.

"Satisfactory Arbitration process…"
Satisfactory Arbitration process following almost 12 months of correspondence with ABTA which was cumbersome - and ABTA quite useless in dealing with the complaint. We then had to repeat the process with Hunt ADR as we had to upload all the correspondence again. The outcome was fair and the Arbitrator found in our favour. However the website proved to be quite difficult to navigate.
