"Online Mediation"

Well structured and well paced session demonstrating how to use an online meeting platform (in this instance Zoom) for online mediation. The session included Gregory Hunt (coach) another attendee and me, so it was virtually personal training. A general introduction and a demonstration module was followed up by time where each of the two attendees took over the role of host and ran the platform, using breakout rooms, broadcast and chat facilities.

After thirty years as a party representative, I launched a new practice as a neutral arbitrator in 2019, and was honored to join Hunt ADR’s ArbEx program. Since February 2019, I have accepted sixteen appointments from Hunt ADR, four from the American Arbitration Association, and one from the AAA’s International Centre for Dispute Resolution.

The initial appointments I received from Hunt ADR helped to facilitate a natural and efficient transition from party representative to neutral arbitrator.

With each appointment, Hunt ADR provided administrative support and constructive feedback at the highest professional level. Even an experienced arbitrator could likely benefit from Hunt ADR’s constructive feedback process. This is a top-notch program that I highly recommend for any arbitrator.
