"I love the couch"

I love the couch, the people who delivered the couch were amazing, and I would absolutely shop at Old Brick again. The one thing that I am a little concerned about is that most of the other stores in the area offer free delivery, and I did have to pay for delivery for the couch. However, given the courtesy of the drivers and how much care they took in getting the new couch into the house, I would say it was worth paying the delivery charge. Thank you.

"Absolutely no leeway on cancellations"

We recently purchased a living room set and are very pleased with the quality. They have decent items if you know what to look for. Upon delivery a cocktail table showed up unannounced. Sure enough it was on the invoice. We discussed in store that it was likely too large. Anyway, we liked it and decided to keep it. Unfortunately, the two arm chairs and ottoman - custom order for fabric change - would just not fit in the space without encroaching on the dining room. We really liked them and wanted them, but they just couldn't fit.
They do have a cancellation policy of 30% (actually minimum deposit is 30%- we paid in full) duly noted on the invoice. We shopped on a Saturday, I assume the order was entered on the next Monday, I called on Thursday to cancel. To my astonishment, I was told the chairs were in production already and would likely ship the following week. That was a shock as they make a point to inform you the lead times are running 30-40 days. Were they in production? who knows, I certainly don't.
So... not possible to cancel. 30% fee = $500. Lesson learned. It didn't take too much trouble to finish the paperwork for a refund. The gentleman was polite and professional. Still waiting for the credit to be refunded, i don't expect any issues.
I was told the chairs were to be delivered to Old Brick anyway as they were unable to cancel. My inquiry asking if we could possibly use one of the chairs, would it be delivered the following week?, was met with a blank stare and no guarantee. Hah, thought so.
We just purchased a new home and have two more bedrooms to furnish. I will be thinking long and hard on whether we will be returning to purchase from Old Brick.
Bottom line, i felt the lack of compromise (even store credit) to be the main factor in future business.

I truly enjoy the experience of shopping for furniture at Old Brick. The sales representatives are helpful, without being pushy and seem to understand when I explain what I wanted from my purchase - without trying to convince me that I had to purchase something more expensive.

"Old Brick Is The Real Deal"

Great experience from being in the store, to ordering the furniture on the phone, to getting the furniture delivered. Everyone was great and easy to work with. They work as a team so there's no high-pressure sales tactics when you walk in the store. I researched the furniture I was purchasing online, and Old Brick had the best prices. Highly recommend.

Very relaxed shopping experience, no pressure. We ordered a chair and it was received as expected. Only slight issue was upholstery work- lined pattern not well done on arms leave waved pattern.

"I was sold a used couch"

I was sold a used couch. When it arrived the stitching was frayed and the guys delivering it said it was probably a factory defect. After they left I folded down the arm rest and it was filled with crumbs and water stains from drinks. What a joke. They righted there wrong and sent me a new couch and waived the delivery fee, but the fact that happened after spending almost $2000 is unacceptable
