"Beware incomplete/inaccurate product description and unfriendly returns policy"

I've unfortunately had a very poor experience with this company, trying to buy some Ninka One2Five recycling bins. The website description had minimal description and turned out to include a reference to 'fixing materials' that weren't included with the item. An email via the website to clarify this before purchase wasn't answered, and a call to their customer service line wasn't returned. When the bins arrived I found that they didn't include critical items required to fit them. Locksonline's customer service staff were unable to tell me which items were required to complete the item (although eventually did so several weeks later). Out of frustration I tried to return the bins, only to be told that it would be at my own expense - so much for the 14 day no quibble return policy. It was a huge box and would have cost me a fortune. After a month of backward and forward emails and calls, with some lengthy delays at their end, I ended up in touch with the Managing Director. He was also unhelpful, and started quoting the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to me - great way to further antagonise a dissatisfied customer! He claimed that the missing items had been specified on the website (they weren't) and denied any fault at their end. He'll probably do the same in response to this review. I won't be making another purchase. Other buyers beware!
