I have placed an order on Dec.17 , it was shipped on Jan.7 and now we are in Jan.13 and the items still in Japan. Imagine. They sent an apology email, and said we will refund the shipment fees. But they didn’t. And even if they do, it will be my first and last experience with them.

Dreadful unhelpful customer service as their courier partner wouldn't deliver to a Po box, they couldn't even be bothered to use Australia post and save a sale instead just refunded my money.
Their loss as I have bought from another company. I cannot recommend this company.

I’ve ordered from them 7 times now. They are faster the last two times (less than two weeks).
Everything is fresh, meticulously packed, and awesome. I’ve ordered sake from them too. They are my go-to for my soy sauces and yuzu, but I always have to buy candy too.

"Terrible experience."
I ordered a $70 snack gift box for my niece, who was in the hospital in Germany. Japanese Taste failed to provide a complete product list for customs declaration.
Because of this, the package has been stuck in Germany for weeks. Japanese Taste offered no support whatsoever. Instead, I’ve had to go through every product in the box to provide customs with the necessary details. With 20+ items, this is a major headache. To make things worse, their website lacks full descriptions, like weights, which I need for customs.
Now my niece is home, and I still have to deal with changing the delivery address on top of everything else.
For a company that offers gift services, they've made the process incredibly difficult. I want my money back..

"Absoluter Reinfall"
Absoluter Reinfall. Bei den Preisen bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass Bestellungen schnell bearbeitet werden und die Einfuhrsteuer schon dabei ist. Aber nein: Erst nach 2 Wochen wurde die Bestellung überhaupt verschickt! Mit den 15 Tagen DHL aus Japan war das dann viel zu spät für Weihnachten, stornieren ging auch nicht mehr und es wurde nochmal teuer beim Zoll.
Würde ich absolut nicht empfehlen.

All the negative reviews made me quite anxious about my order. But I decided to give them a chance and I'll contact the credit card company if nothing after 3 weeks. Ordered 8 cosmetics products on 11/29/24, received an automated email saying the order was still being processed on 12/5/24, shipping notification with FedEx tracking # on 12/11/24, and received today 12/16/24. Shipping was quick and smooth and each product was individually bubble wrapped, don't see any reason why not to order from again.

Slow slow no response to enquiries.
Ordered standard delivery however after 11 days my order status hasn't changed and not even prepared let alone dispatched. This order is not going to arrive for Christmas.

Many products in the online shop have competitive pricing. The selection of products is very good o think.
I read some negative reviews before but my experience was fine and based on this I can recommend this shop
