There's one fellow at this place who really goes the distance to help.

I purchased a harley that I didn't get along with.
Took it back and purchased a Ducati.
Simple action you may think.
Not when both bikes are financed switching is a bit of messing about.
Especially when I've got loads of worries with my son in hospital for open heart surgery.
The help and advice and sheer sincerity I recieved from Ian Was amazing.
I know about good employees and I hope Ritbike know the value in this employee.

I would never recommend this company to a friend!

On 8th of June, I called and placed a deposit for a bike over the phone. The sales person appeared helpful and polite. He sent me over WatsApp a short video of going around the bike and pointing out different imperfections. After that we had a phone call so he can take a few hundred pounds deposit from my card. He told me that he will send me the invoice and bank details by the end of the day, so I can pay the full amount for the bike via bank transfer.

Few days later, still haven't got the invoice, I've received an email pointing me to RiteBike's website. I was supposed to click a button signing something called "truth statement". The statement contained details about me and the bike I'm buying. Since my name was misspelled, I tried to message the sales agent and ask him to get it corrected.
For second time in a row, I've got NO responce from the agent.

On the next day, I was supposed to email a copy of my ID. After I tried, I've received my email bounced back wich a message saying that their email address does NOT exist. I've checked the email address again and it was exactly the one they gave me on their website.

So far my communication with the company was only until they got my deposit money. Any other communication attempt failed with no responce!
The sales agent was NOT answering his phone, NOT responding to WatsApp messages where he sent me the short video about the bike.

I've decided to try their website internal messaging system and I have sent them 2 messages with some questions about the missing invoice, missing bank details and non responding sales agent.
I've got NO responce on these messages at all.

I've got a bit suspicious so I decided to check RITE BIKE LTD in Companies House. The company status is DISSOLVED!

At some point I have decided to email the company on different email I've got from their website. I emailed them trying to explain what is happening and how the sales agent does not respond, and also I wanted to ask them about their company status and the email which does not exist.
I've got NO responce to this email at all.

On 17th of June, I've managed to get trough al the robots of their phone system and finally had a call with real person. I have explained the whole story, and the person told me that they will refund my deposit and I won't have to do anything after that. I was supposed to get the refund in 5 working days.

Easier said than done...

10 working days later (27th June), the refund was still not refunded. I have called them on their sales line asking for information about the refund.
They told me I will get a callback from them by the end of the day, but as usual they DID NOT called back!

On 29th of June They told me I will get a callback from them by the end of the day, but as usual they DID NOT called back!

On 29th of June in the afternoon and
On 30th of June:
They told me I will get a callback from them by the end of the day, but as usual they DID NOT called back!

On 1st of Jul They told me I will get a callback from them by the end of the day. After I called for second time on the evening, they informed me that they have just done the refund.

"The people I dealt with where great."

The people I dealt with where great, but the new pirtal for track progress on the sale is rubbish.

Once it was explained to me that Ritebike are being taken over and are experiencing admin and integration issues.

However, when the sales person personally chased everything up, the sale was concluded quite rapidly and with little fuss.

The young lady, who concluded all of the paperwork, was very helpful, patient and efficient.

"Very poor customer service"

Very poor customer service.

Bought a Yamaha FZ8 from Rite Bike a few weeks ago and customer service was non-existent. Seems the norm nowadays with dealers. Asked to see if any deal could be done like you do when buying any bike/car and was met with arrogance and total refusal, not even road tax or even a key ring !!

On the day picking the bike up was sent into the office to transfer money, handed keys with no thanks, no after-sales or any attempt to say thanks for choosing us or any sort of pleasantness.

Came outside where the bike had been standing for a few days, covered in stickers, dust, and not even a thank you !!

Arrived home and realised the wrong bike had been transferred into my name so got in touch with Rite Bike and was given the usual salesman patter of ahhh don't worry see what V5C comes through. Had to mess about doing it all myself to get the right bike (ironic) into my name.

I wouldn't recommend or use again as their arrogance and none exsistent customer service is something that clearly needs addressing. As the old saying goes "without customers you don't have a business".
