"The SoClean company does not care for any negative feedback."
I had been using a SoClean machine with my Philips CPAP machine but recently stopped and called SoClean to return two unopened filters.
The pure focus of this unsatisfactory review, however, has only to do with the company's Customer Service communication following my call to them.
When calling the company, even before speaking with a rep, you are asked if they can contact you AFTER your conversation with a satisfaction survey. I indicated my willingness to receive such a call back.
After a short wait, I was able to speak with a customer service agent and asked about returning 2 unused, unopened filters. While I was unhappy that my request was denied, I nevertheless understood their strict adherence to their company policy. The call was ended.
A minute later my phone rang and the recorded voice from SoClean said this was a follow-up call. However, instead of ANY opportunity to respond to survey questions, the recorded message was a thank-you for contacting SoClean and an abrupt, "Good bye".
This was a crystal clear message that they had absolutely no interest in any likely NEGATIVE feedback.
It is no wonder that the company is not certified by the Better Business Bureau.

"Beware so-clean 3 is a rip off"
Beware so-clean 3 is a rip off. It forces you to buy a new filter every 6 months at $30.00 each. This is even if you are inactive with the system such as at a second home. Oh yeah it only has a 30 day return policy so you can not find out about the rip-off until 6 mos later.
Save your money.

"New adapter for an almost useless machine"
I called an ordered the "new" adapter for a So Clean machine that now only cleans the hose and mask!! Called today as they only shipped the filter kit!! I was told it is on backorder, and will be shipping tomorrow. They asked if I would take the survey and I said "Yes", you know they weren't going to call me back for the survey!!!

"Questions weather or not it causes deterioration of cpap seals?"
I have been using my SoClean for several years and it seems to have reduced the early morning head aches that I had been experiencing prior to it's use. Recently the seal on the water chamber started making a noise and it became hard to get a good seal on the chamber to eliminate the noise so it was time anyway to order a new cpap machine. When Baycare Homecare delivered my new machine they advised against using the SoClean because it causes the internal seals to wear out sooner than the should. Now I am confused as to weather or not to use the device because it seems to have worked well for me in the past. I think I will try it without the SoClean for a while and see how it go's.

"I don't know how anyone can use this"
I don't know how anyone can use this! The smell it leaves behind in the mask and hose cannot be good for you! Horrible. To see all the positive reviews makes me really wonder if this ratings really is honest. There is NO WAY a person can use this machine and not complain about the smell. DO NOT buy this for your own health!

"Use of SoClean will void warranties for CPAP machines."
I purchased a SoClean 2 in October 2020. I received the machine, and it worked as described. However, several months after receiving the machine I was notified by the company that supplies my Philips CPAP machine that it had been recalled and if I use a SoClean machine to cease using it because it could be damaging my CPAP machine. I did receive a new CPAP machine, now a ResMed and they also indicated that use of the SoClean would void the warranty. I have been trying to get a refund for my machine. When I emailed SoClean customer service they did not respond. I have been trying to file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. They have been working with SoClean, but SoClean does not stand behind their product. They simply state that they are suing Philips. If you are considering SoClean make sure to check with your CPAP company to make sure that they approve use.

"Never a problem."
Wow, I am surprised reading the negative comments here. I have had 2 so clean machines now for a few years and absolutely love them. Today I just ordered the so clean 3 machine to replace my oldest one.
Ordering was simple and so easy.
I have never had to contact customer service for any reason so hopefully all will go well in that aspect.

"Poor customer service for an easy fix problem"
The SoClean machine I have no longer starts because of a toggle clip on the entry hole for the hose not working. When calling he company I hoped for them to help make this an easy fix by providing an improved clip (maybe a .50 part). This was not the case as they required all kinds of info to ensure my machine was still under warranty. I’d rather do business with a company that stands behind their products no matter what, in the future, and would spend my approximately $400 elsewhere!

"Just watched a couple SoClean…"
Just watched a couple SoClean commercials that state you don't have to wash your cpap equipment if you use their product. After having terrible sinus problems for quite some time I quite using the SoClean & my sinus problems went away. I contact SoClean and am told that I still need to hand wash my equipment. Seems to me that the commercials are totally misleading if not a down right lie.

"SoClean usable?"
CPAP manufacturers tell us the SoClean speeds up the deterioration of the foam that causes toxic fume issues. So now we can't use the CPAP devices and are told that we should never use the SoClean type cleaning devices. I am very disappointed that SoClean has not reached out to its' customers to provide any information at all. Basically, the cleaning device is a big white expensive paperweight.
