"Superb managing agent"

We joined Property Stop approx 5 years ago having previously been with a very poor managing agent.
The service we have received since has been exemplary. The staff are most helpful and very efficient.
The company have managed our unit most efficiently and have addressed any maintenance issues quickly to ensure that our tenants feel matters are dealt with quickly and to everyones satisfaction.
We have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone seeking a reliable managing agent

"Exceptional service"

I’ve been using Property Stops fully managed service to look after my property portfolio for the past 3 years.
As I spend a lot of my time overseas I opted for their fully managed service and can honestly say I’ve found the service to be excellent. Rent is always paid promptly and communication has been exceptional when maintenance has been required.
I’m happy to recommend Property Stop to any other landlords considering using the services they offer.

"A good team with great communication"

The team at Property Stop have been looking after our flats for many years now. The initial tenancy checks, move ins and condition reports are always good.
On-going they have looked after maintenance issues through a team of contractors who seem to be responsive.

"I appointed Property Stop as my…"

I appointed Property Stop as my managing agent 3 years ago. I was a first time Landlord. It was always my plan to let my flat for 2 or 3 years to make my move from Essex to Kent easier by avoiding the hassle of property sale in Essex & purchase in Kent. This plan worked as I have had 3 years renting in Kent before actually buying a property. I had 2 meetings with Paul (director), who explained everything I needed to know, as I had never let a property before. The management %rate he offered was very competitive compared with 2 other letting agencies, that I spoke to. Also one of the other agencies had various additional fees, which were all included in Property Stop's management fee. During the entire 3 years the staff in the office were always efficient when I had to contact them. Whenever there was a problem my main contact was Stuart(director), who always gave good advice & sorted out any issues that I had. I definitely recommend existing & new property owners who are letting to use Property Stop.

"Faultless…"

I have let my property with property stop for several years now and they have always been faultless. From the initial contact everything was explained to me in a language I could understand and I was guided through the whole process. They are always happy to offer advice when needed and nothing seems too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend them.

"Beyond dishonest continued"


Dear Property Stop

Thank you for the reply to my original review.
The fact that it has taken you approximately three years to respond does indicate that your lowest priority are your tenants.
I find it quite astonishing that it has taken this long to respond, not so say unprofessional and lackadaisical.

Having rented properties previously, we were both well aware of the rems of a tenancy agreement, however, you appear to be missing the point here. We specifically stated that we wanted a long term tenancy, and whilst the initial term of the tenancy would be the 12 month contract you have mentioned, we wanted to be in a situation where the re=tenancy would be renewed on a regular basis.

We were assured by your representative that this would be the case, and that the owners of the property wanted a professional couple to rent the property and provide stability and a regular income. We believed what we were told, although in hindsight we may have been foolish to believe anything we were told when there was the opportunity of commission to be earnt.

Although the planning application you mentioned was submitted after our tenancy began, it transpires that the owners had applied for planning permission a number of times before this one. A fact that seems to have been well known by the neighbours and at least one other estate agent.

Regarding the repairs – the drainage issue was never resolved. A drain survey was carried out, which showed that concrete piping had collapsed. In order to resolve this the kitchen and bathroom floor would have required digging up, and drainage to the main sewer pipe in the road would have had to be renewed. This was never carried out.

During our tenancy a number of emails were sent to Property Stop which were not replied to.
Unfortunately, after the three year gap I’m not sure we still have copies of these.

All in all, we stand by our original review, and you will note that it has taken us less than three years to respond to you.
Which does indicate that there are still people in the world who believe in common courtesy.

"I have been a customer with Property…"

I have been a customer with Property Stop for almost 25 years since a purchased my first property in March 2000, during this period as a client I have depended on the owners Stuart and Paul to control and run over 25 properties in their care, during this time I have stayed loyal to PS as I have found no reason to change my management company over the years. the rent is always paid on time and keep me updated with any issues,I have no hesitation in recommending them to any landlord looking for a management company
