"Bought a diamond and sapphire eternity…"

Bought a diamond and sapphire eternity ring for my SO. She loves it. Fits perfectly. Is simply gorgeous on her finger. Was delivered on time with no problem.
Always have a great experience with Blue Nile.

"Wrong colored rubies"

I got my wife's engagement ring and wedding band at Blue Nike and is absolutely thrilled with them. However the most recent ring I purchased for her was supposed to have (according to the picture online) deep red rubies in it. When we received it the stones were a light pink (the ring had an option for rubies, pink sapphire or blue sapphire). I called customer service and the woman said (paraphrasing here) "you get what you get". She then told us to go to the showroom in Tysons Corner, VA. When we got there the girl agreed the color didn't match the picture. She told us there wasn't anything to be done and said her manager wouldn't be in until the next day.

"Not Customer Focused at All!"

Purchased my men's wedding band here. It was a tungsten carbide band that was about one size to large. Once I realized that I needed a size smaller I reached out to them and they wanted restock fees plus tax, etc. Now, I was approx 2 weeks past the return policy but the ring was new and unblemished. I refuse to pay these fees as I think this is totally not a good customer experience. We purchased my wife's ring from White Flash and have actually sent it back for a couple minor issues twice. They never asked questions and always was 100% customer focused. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for Blue Nile. There are many options out there online so I cannot recommend this group. I would recommend White Flash for sure but I know there are others as well that are focused on after the sale and not just the sale. Do your homework and take heed to some of these reviews....

"Horrible Customer Service!..Bought 2…"

Horrible Customer Service!..Bought 2 pink diamonds on 11/15/2020. Wire received in 2 hours. Bottom line they were supposed to go out the following week...following week postponed to week after..last week new shipping date 12/15/21!! These are GIA stones..all they need to do is place them in a box and mail them..called Blue Nile..found out their vendor was in NYC..no none contacted them. I asked for supervisor..they "Diamond Expert" told me it would take 2 days for him to call but if I cancelled the order it would take "up to 10 days for wire refund." This company sells things that they don't have and instead of following up with the vendor, they send out silly delay notices.As a gemologist, I've never experienced such lousy customer service...what a difference with dealing with a primo company like Leibish. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

"2/3 success rate"

We have purchased 3 rings from blue Nile. 2/3 were excellent. Last one was a dud. It was completely hideous after one day. No hard labor, just driving and having lunch and the ring was scuffed up on all sides so noticeably. I would still recommend this company because they are quick and have decent quality but they do seem like they have some duds.

"If I could give this company zero stars…"

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I have made 5 significant jewelry purchases from Blue Nile & the one they are willing to severe our customer relationship over is the $440 one. I sent in all my jewelry except my diamond studs for cleaning, prong checks & polishing. All came back to me in great shape/polish except for my platinum band that had very light scratches I asked them to resize up one size & polish.

I received my band back with the area that is was resized very visible & now my band had pock marks & ripples all the way around. It was so damaged I decided to send it back for repairs again.

I sent photos & videos of damage at their request upon returning. I have received an email stating this damage was my fault for wearing daily & that the platinum would degrade over time. Wrong. I don't wear any rings at home, only when I go out. I do not sleep in my jewelry, nor is it exposed to any chemicals like the obvious abuse my band was exposed to by an untrained novice jewelry by the looks of it.

To rectify this situation they suggested I just not wear my band as often OR I could just by a new one at 20% off which is still over $100 more than I paid for it originally.

I have responded that neither of these solutions work for me, platinum is purchased for it's strength. I would have had to have access to some extremely caustic materials and extreme heat & intentionally tried to ruin my wedding band for it to be in the damaged state it was returned to me in.

Bottom line. Don't purchase your jewelry from Blue Nile unless you are willing to forgo any warranty or reputable customer service. They don't stand behind their product, their repair work and you are better off paying more at a reputable local jewelry that employs fully trained jewelers to do their repair work and sizing. Blue Nile cannot even be trusted to size a ring.

"Very bad experience with Blue nile"

Very bad experience with Blue nile. Purchase a ring 3 months ago and it took more than 3 months to ship it. They said it’s custom and it will take more time because of COVID … balbla… When they decide to ship it, the ring was 12 diamond instead of 14 diamond. I talked with a person called Liz about this and asked for a discount for not honouring what you promised. Her answer was is that I already got a promotion deal when I bought the ring 4 months ago and Blue nile is not will willing to do anything else. I asked to talk to a manager or someone that will handle this properly but unfortunately no answer from her, and she doesn’t answer my calls. Never ever again to buy anything else from Blue Nile. Very bad experience.

"Excellent rings and service"

Bought both our wedding rings from Blue Nile. Both rings in perfect condition and beautifully presented in boxes. One needed to be re-sized and this process was quick, easy and free as advertised. Would definitely recommend!
