Poor quality chrome waterfall bath taps for a large price
I purchased 2 chrome bath taps which are not cheap, 1 has failed behind the back of the tap on a rivert which now leaks water, i have emailed and sent a picture or the issue which also carries a 20 year warranty and there response is due to lack of maintenance the taps have failed there's no visible limescale but on the back the rivets have started to leak i can feel some corrosion and this is not covered by warranty. Why would an expsive chrome tap corrode only poor quality

Terrible customer service- I bought a mirrored bathroom cabinet and the mirrors de-silvered within 12 months, when I requested a replacement or refund I have been told this is caused by moisture and that the mirrors should be dried after I use the shower or run the hot tap. What environment is the cabinet meant to be in if not a bathroom. How can I wipe the back of the mirror when the mirror is glued to the door? Do not buy from this company their products are not fit for purpose.

"Applauling Customer Service."

I have just experienced the worst customer experience ever from Hudson Reed.
I contacted the company to request seals for a tap spout that was leaking at the base.I thought this would be a simple request.But no, the agent advised that I needed to change the cartridges,which had nothing to do with my issue.I was then required to send a video,not sure how that would assist when I have already explained the issue.However I sent a clear image of the spout with arrows indicating the seals required.I then receive an email back with a link for a complete new spout @ £30 advising that they do not supply the seals. Hudson Reed are the manufacturers and there own Tec trouble shooting guide for a leaking spout at base, advises to replace the seals.This is not the level of customer service I would expect from what I thought was a reputable company.

"Appalling product and customer after care"

Having spent thousands on my old london bathroom i assumes the quality would be top class. My tallboy has split on one of the bottom corners. I contacted victorian plumbing who i bought the bathroom from. They have told me im not entitled to a replacement tallboy as hudson reed say the item is water resistant not water proof. So is it not fit for purpose given that explanation? I have a large bathroom and the cabinet is nowhere near the bath or shower. What appalling customer service and absolutely shoddy goods. This tallboy cost £500 and is disgraceful quality. Will the vanity unit round my basin now split too? Avoid this company if you are thinking of a new bathroom

Quality that won't last.

Purchased an Old London Toilet seat soft close mechanism has snapped ( looks like poor casting ) and lamination coming away.

Given the cost I would expect greater longevity .

"Wrong imagery used on site"

The shower hose broke on my Topaz tap mixer - so I ordered a new one. I have been sent items which do not match the images used by multiple retailers. I called up to try and find out why, and to get some help getting the one that matches the images only to be told they can't tell me if the design has been updated, and that they wouldn't have any record of it a change has been made.

Update based on reply - the issue is that the image hasnt been updated so its confusing to know what item you are getting rather than anything to do with the design being changed

"Useless after sales service"

The worst possible after sales service! Toilet handle broke and was sent completely the wrong part with two weeks delay!!

Purchased a waterfall bath tap which was installed January of this year, recently noticed what looked like black spots around the left hand side of the water outlet. Upon closer inspection, it was found to be corrosion caused by the chrome plating peeling away. Sent an online form via their website explaining the situation and asking someone to get in touch and that was nearly a week ago. As per the title, poor quality products and zero customer service.

Bought an Old London vanity unit in twilight blue with a marble top less than one year ago. The plinth has blown and now the white is showing through the blue paint. The marble top appears to be deteriorating next to the tap. Complained to the supplier was told it was water damage and nothing could be done. Asked for a new plinth but as they are manufactured in China it’s not possible. I thought I was buying a quality product that would last it cost over £800. I have purchased much cheaper units in the past and never had any problems. It would appear to me that this product is completely unfit for a bathroom as have been informed it’s not water resistant !!! Nowhere in the glossy brochure does it give any of this information apart from the plumbing instructions. Absolutely cop out company. As this is an en-suite and only I use it I’m now having to use the other bathroom as even steam affects it. Totally useless expensive bathroom.
