"Not currently fit for purpose"
Been doing business with this comany for many,mamy years and initially service was very good and prices competitive. Recently however they have gone to the dogs as far as reliability and customer service is concerned. Currently awaiting an order which should have arrived last Monday. Several phone calls and unanswered messages later and I am sitting here like a lemon. Don't know wat else to say to the end client. So I will just sit and wait until whenever they decide to deliver my order. I give up!
More to say, but will keep my powder dry.
And Mixam please don't reply to this post and ask for more details!
*In reply to the response below from Maxim, can post a screen shot from DPD tracking yesterday 8th Jan that says they have not receive the parcels for delivery! Maxim is compounding the problem by not being transparent.

Once again, Mixam did not fail to impress. Just ordered yet another book from them and the quality, speed of delivery and size were all perfect. Would highly recommend - they have never let me down.

"Having never had a booklet printed…"
Having never had a booklet printed before, this was new territory for me. The guidelines and instructions are good although sometimes takes a bit of time to understand because of the unfamiliarity. I was impressed by their attention to detail - I had inadvertently added a black line around the pages which they alerted me to and I was able to correct.
The delivery date was as they forecast and the delivered product is first class. Thank you.

"Good overall experience but just a couple of niggles "
In general the experience was good. However the online programme we used to design the book wasn’t the most intuitive or responsive. That said we had great support from the Mixam team when we had a few problems. We had hope that the book would have been dispatched in time for Christmas arrival but our proposed dispatch date got pushed back until Christmas Eve so it didn’t actually arrive until Monday 30th December - the day after my son went back to Australia so I’ve now had an additional cost of posting it out to him!! Overall there were a few little niggles but we are very pleased with the final product!

"A really good company"
A really good company. The book they printed is extremely well put together and it was relatively simple to follow the instructions. Printing is actually clearer than the images I sent and my own dummy printouts at home. If I'd had time I would have done one draft copy through Mixam first (and would have made some slight changes to colour and positioning) but the quality can't be faulted.
The only real issue I had was not being able to make a spine without a separate programme like Canva. Mixam offered to do it for me but the final spine is slightly out of position - it is not centred. It's a shame you can't simply type in the spine information (I didn't have a logo or picture, only coloured text in a specific font and size) and have it set automatically.
The books were meant to be delivered before Christmas but arrived after - the turnaround was very tight but no one from Mixam told me there would be a delay and it did cause a certain amount of chaos as they were presents for people who live in other countries and had gone home.

"Fast delivery under unique circumstances"
Ordered a small set of stapled booklets/magazines around the 20th of December, I was very impressed by the simplicity of creating the order with your own custom design, but the most important thing was how quickly they could fulfil my order. I needed this order by the 2nd of Jan, and looking at their estimated delivery date of 31st of December was a bit close for me, but I took the chance on Mixam, and they did not disappoint. Despite the period I was ordering was a holiday season, they fulfilled my order by the 28th of December (3 days early), so I was incredibly relieved to receive it on time, and I couldn't fault them for this.

"Tomorrow never comes"
I'm still waiting for an order I placed weeks ago with this company. When chasing the delivery of the order, I have been told constantly that the order will be dispatched "tomorrow" or "later today"....but tomorrow never comes! Either customer services are clueless or intentionally lying.
I've now had 7 or 8 messages saying our order will be dispatched "tomorrow" and....it still hasn't dispatched!
I've tried to call out the fact that I've been promised "tomorrow" so many times that now they have just stopped replying at all. Customer service attitude seems to be "if you don't know, don't reply"
Initiating a chargeback based on no product received and no reply from customer services.
