I accidentally paid for a basic dbs check thinking it was the official site for doing it with it coming up at top of search list and being a .org
It took me about 5 mins after submitting when I realized and sent an email saying do not process, please refund long before they had chance to even see my application and start doing anything.
They responded saying they will refund minus a £15 "admin" charge. Don't know what admin charge there would be considering they literally had done nothing.
They said it would take 7-10 working days.
By the 11th working day no refund, so I contacted them. They said they will find out what is going on and respond.
I've now spent the last 2 weeks messaging them chasing my refund and keep getting ignored.

Do not input your details or use their services. In no point of application was mentioned their extortinate fee of £77. Well hidden in the small print. Trying to recoup money and cancel is pointless as they hide behind their unfair T&C.
Chargeback from your bank or like me Small claims court proceedings is the only way.

I needed my DBS for a Professional Licence and used this Company. Then find out that it takes 14 Days ... DO NOT USE THEM
I went onto the Government Website and Paid £23 to get it within an Hour

I had paid this company £84 to get a DBS check in early September, on the same date the application was submitted, I was requested to provide proof of ID and address to complete the checks ETC... I had submitted it to them on their online portal the same day. A week had gone by and I hadn't received my application number and so I chased them for an update. They never responded. I have chased them on numerous occasions and had requested a refund since they clearly hadnt done anything. For that they immidiately responded that the fee is non refundable and that once the application has been submitted, any fees cannot be refunded. So I waited and waited expecting the check to come to my address. Six months later, nothing arrived. I then chased them again for it for which they asked me to fill in the application for ID verification in order to submit the application. So they are taking me around in circles with no end in sight. Not even processed the application after 6 months and not giving refund. They have not been able to provide me an application reference starting with the letter E even though I have asked this from them every time, so they haven't even considered making an application and have just taken my money. These kind of businesses should not be trading and should be closed down immidiately and the Directors held responsible and penalised.
I can see that this has happened to every single person who has enrolled with them. Please report them to action fraud so this doest happen to others.

"Frustrating, Infuriating & Time Consuming"
I have issues with documents I'm downloading, I explained in a full e mail the problem I am having and that I am currently abroad etc. All I got back was a standard pre-populated response they never read my e mail, what's the point. They really need to read replies, very frustrating in dealing with DBS.

"I used the service back in September…"
I used the service back in September 2020 and paid £80 for checks. I have today realised they have been debiting me £8.00 a month for their premium cloud service. I have no idea what the service is or why they have been debiting my account for this service. I DID NOT agree to any such service and these transactions are unauthorised. In total I have been debited £128 since Sept 2020. I am furious. I have not had a single email since using the service back in September 2020 about any subscription or use of their cloud service. In my opinion this is stealing from customers. I will report the unauthorised transactions to the financial ombudsman and would advise any other customers in a similar position to do the same.

I used this company last month for our company, they seemed legit at first but now its been 4 weeks with no certificate back. Every time I have emailed them for a VAT receipt and the dbs certificate they have ignored me.
After they pushed us to getting the more expensive searches done.

"It's a SCAM! Do Not Use."
2 of my colleagues used this site in error. All they do is collect your personal info and then go onto the .gov site and enter the details you gave them and charge you £61 admin on top of the DBS charge for the pleasure. It's a scam and you get nothing for your money, and they get all your personal data. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Don't waste your time and money, just go directly to the .gov website.

Scammers, I wish I’d read some of the negative reviews before parting £107 of non refundable cash. They promise to send out your certificate in 2-7 days however after nearly I still haven’t received one.
After reading that they’re not to be trusted I ordered one from the government website for £23 and it got here in about a week.
