I needed rear shocks for my Chevy Colorado. I have a 2 inch lift on it.
The sales person recommended Bilstien shocks that would fit a Chevy Silverado with 2 inch lift. I said I had a Colorado and he said they were interchangeable between vehicles.
Needless to say, the shocks fit but without the metal insert between the bushing that the large bolt goes through.
I had to instal them due to my stock shocks not fitting and a big job towing a trailer that day...
One day later, the shocks fell off my truck. Just the motion of the truck moving caused the rubber bushing to loosen up the top bolts, causing them to fall off.
Shocks are ruined.
I ordered the correct shocks from Summit Racing the next day and they fit perfect.
I’m out $180 and will never do business with Shock Warehouse again.
And yes, I’m aware that I shouldn’t of mounted them without the insert.
I had no choice due to work that day.
The salesperson needs to get there information correct.....

Was just able to get the time and the Monterey Van, to install them this weekend. The top nut has a keeper on it, so the removal and installation was easy.
