I recently engaged JCP Estate Agents to let out my property in East Oxford and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with their service. From start to finish, they demonstrated professionalism, efficiency and a deep understanding of the local market.

Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they managed to let my property. They generated significant interest and brought in multiple offers. Not only did they secure a tenant promptly but they also managed to achieve a rental price that exceeded my expectations. This goes to show their expertise in pricing strategy and negotiation.

The agent is good. But the landlord is a very mean person. Do not rent flat 71A Walton St from JCP. I stayed in the UK for many years, as a research fellow. This is the first time I meet such a horrible person in the UK, even in the world. She is mean and ask unreasonable requests when you are still there, e.g. return the flat back as it was. Why? I am still living here, how she can ask me what to do in the flat. She also tries to find ways to make you live in the flat uncomfortably, e.g. you have to clean the flat, do not make it dirty, clean the window, do not open the window when you leave home... She keeps an eye on your daily life, now I think this is a reason why she do not change her mailing address. All her mails were sent to our flat. She come and pick up her mails. She is good when we moved in, then become bad when we will move out. I think this is her trick to keep your deposit. Also the flat is small and old. Most facilities work less efficient, the shower is horrible, the heater is extremely expensive in the winter. The rent + electricity + council tax is very high for a single person to live. The agent should remove this flat from their website, do not let others get hurt from such a landlord.

We rented our apartment through JCPenny at Jericho Oxford. Anna McKay in Lettings couldn’t have been more helpful or efficient, she navigated us through some tricky situations most efficiently yet with calm dignity. Nothing was too much trouble for Anna, she made the stressful task of renting an apartment (in a most sought after area of Oxford) that much simpler. Jacob at the JCP Lettings office has been a rock to us. Without his most polite and diligent back up at all times we would have found this renting process infinitely more frustrating. He is a real an asset to the company. Needless to say whilst we had no direct contact with Jasmin at admin , she held fort incredibly well to make the process possible.

Having to correspond with JCP Estate Agents on numerous occasions due to my daughter wanting to relinquish her student tenancy it was Jacob who was definitely the star of the company… he was courteous and efficient in every aspect and would always return my calls during the process.. which involved a change of tenancy and the retuning of house deposits etc.

Nothing was too much trouble for Jacob and he truly is a credit to the company.
