"AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!!"
Recently took my Nissan in for a timing chain replacement. After paying £1330 I received my car back with a warning light on and still a buzzing sound coming from the engine. After informing Asif and returning the car for inspection all I got a phone call saying a further repair was needed for the sum of £1000 for a cam repair despite them missing this on the diagnostic! A warranty means nothing here as they will use every excuse in the book to dodge repairing your car. If you like paying a fortune to have your car returned in a worse state than you sent it then this is the place for you!

I had booked my vehicle for a service and I explained that I had a few bad experiences with other garages such as K...F.., where the organisation carried out a service on my vehicle and stated that they had changed certain parts (spark plugs) but actually they did not. Five start showed me with the parts that they were going to change and once the service was completed the shown me the old parts to provided evidence to the work carried out.
Best customer service I have experienced in this industry and at a reasonable price.

"Professional, friendly and kind"
I brought my car to Five star auto centre after having a recommendation from an RAC mechanic who came to rescue me. From my very first phone call I knew that I was in good hands. Emma was friendly professional and explained everything. I’ve had a new battery fitted, aircon sorted and an investigation for a rattle which another garage couldn’t diagnose. Everything was explained, the work was done professionally and they even went out of their way to chase up a warranty claim which saved me £300.
I will always bring my car back in the future. This garage is a breath of fresh air and I’m so glad I found them.

I have been using Bobby down at this garage for over 5 years. I have had my yearly MOT tests and services done on all the family cars as well as a gearbox rebuild, break pads/disc replacements and a replacement differential done on my 4x4. Bobby and the staff always go above and beyond to make sure you are always aware of what needs to be done with clear costing in advance and will make sure you are completely satisfied with the guaranteed work before leaving. I find you get a far more personal service when dealing with a family business as they care about their reputation rather than satisfying the shareholders. I really can’t praise them enough.

I asked for a price for work needed to get the car through the MOT, they quoted £600+ to replace the wishbone, do the tracking, wheel alignment etc, leading me to believe this was essential. Took it somewhere else for a second opinion and had the bushes replaced for less than £100 and the car passed fine. They will lie to you to get you to pay hundreds for non-essential work. Receptionist was very condescending. If they had just said clearly what was advisory and what was 100% needed I would have let them do it but I will not be misled and spoken to like I’m stupid. Untrustworthy garage, will not be back.
