"I ordered the gift card"
I ordered the virtual gift card. The link that is sent to you via email redirects you to there site but the window never loads. Also the activation code that is reported to be in the email in the instance that the link doesn’t work you can enter it manual, is not in the email. Only the redeem link that opens up a dead window. You can find your order in the account menu after this and it displays a gift card and its information. It also states that my order has been fulfilled and displays a gift card and its information. The problem is the card that is shown within the my account section appearing to be my card displays the exact same information as the sample gift card pictures on the homepage. Needless to say the information is not valid. I have sent and email and I have not heard back. It hasn’t been a full day so they still have a chance to make it right but these problems should have never arose. My card information should be easily accessible within the my account section of the site. There is no reason for the activation code to not be present in the email, a dead link is understandable but after reading some other reviews it seems as if it has always been dead and they have not taken action to fix this. After I open the my account section and find my invoice/order number I should also be able to access and view the activation cod from here but I cannot. On top of that the audacity to display the sample gift card within the details of my order as if that were my gift card is absurd. I am outraged. Even if they fix this I will never use their site again

The recipient is not able to redeem their gift card because it’s saying their email is wrong when the attempt to verify it

Buying a card is easy. But figuring out if it was received is impossible unless you contact the recipient, who in my case, was supposed to get it as a surprise. The business phone is automated only and is useless. The giftcards.com website is down at the time I'm writing this, so what is the buyer supposed to do??? Next step is to ask my credit card company to dispute the charge.

I unfortunately purchased an American gift card only usable on American sites and I live in Canada. It's practically useless for me. Should of at least been warned that I'm on the American site and should switch to Canadian site.
