"Nice little RV"

Our experience with Cruise America and our 1500 mile journey were fantastic. Pickup and drop was smooth and easy and the RV had everything we needed. My only con is the pick up and drop-off times. Not being able to pick up the unit until after 1pm cost us half a days time and drop off by 11am on your final day feels like you're paying for an extra day that you can't really use it. That being said, we had ample space and comfort, the on-board generator worked wonderfully and the unit was easy to drive. Would rent again.

"Unsatisfied"

- There were no miles included in the trip even with booking of 3 nights, usually rv bookings have miles included per day.

- No awnings. It’s a desirable thing especially in summers.

- No extension of dining side

- Poor refrigerator cooling
- Housekeeping charges were extra.

The customer service was great. We had a few problems but they were more then happy to work with us and were very understanding which I appreciated.

"Bug infestation, rusty overhead water leaks equate to worst trip we’ve ever experienced"

The rental site didn’t have the provision kits we reserved so I was scrambling the day of to pull together laundry and kitchen/ cooking utensils for my entire family. The RV was filthy. I actually had to ask them to clean the shower before we left as there was a pile of brown toilet paper that was balled up near the drain. Within a few hours of leaving, we quickly discovered the RV was infested in biting ants. We had to find a hardware store to stop at to buy liquid ant traps and place all over. We all ended up with at least 100 bites by day 2. Once it started raining, the rain water plus the drainage from the AC unit led to a massive leak of urine colored water that soaked through the ceiling, non stop, for almost 20 hours. It ruined some of my daughter’s clothes and we again had to stop to buy more towels to try and stop the damage. The unit ended up being undrivable as the rusty water was pouring out onto the driver and passenger heads. Corporate had us detour our trip and drive to the Florida Cruise America hub to attempt repairs. We lost over a half a day of our vacation and ended up getting charged for the extra mileage that we had to drive to go to the hub. At the hub, we were told that the bug infestation was so bad that it needed to be big bombed. At that point I refused to get back in it and requested a different RV. So now our vacation consisted of us moving every single item out of the leaky ant infested previous RV into a different one. I wish I could say that things got better and the new RV that they provided for us, but it simply didn’t. The new one also leaked, but this time over the master bed and in through the master bedroom window. It destroyed a set of sheets and a towel with the nasty rust stained water. I wish I could share pictures in this review to validate my claims, because it truly was unreal, and not in a good way. We have just returned home and are trying to get at least a portion if not all of our trip refunded and we’ve been told that there is no phone number to call, we need to send an email. Of note, I sent an email 11 days ago before we even left addressing concerns that I had with our rental location and have yet to hear back from customer relations. I just want someone to make this right.

"Super easy and reliable"

The checkin/checkout was super easy. They gave a cliff notes sheet that helped throughout our use. The staff was well educated and respectful. Will rent from this location again!
